Signed contract with Tru Blu Renovations of Pools, Inc. (TB will refer to the owner of Tru Blu Renovations of Pools, Inc. in the text below) on 10-27-23 for pool remodel which included the following: new deck, new coping stone, new tile, two new skimmers, new light, leak detection/repair, resurfacing and after care (e.g. chemicals). The resurfacing and after care were the last items to be completed. The down payment was made the same day as signing the contract.On 5-3-23 the pool resurface was completed and the pool was filled by 5-6-23 and within a few days I noticed that the water level started to drop. On 5-10-23 TB was paid $2,500 for the installation and parts for a Jandy controller. At that time, I mentioned to TB that I believed there may be a leak. TB said to watch for the next couple of weeks. I told TB that I wanted to focus on the repair of the leaks before the Jandy was installed. I started sending TB pictures of the water level via text message on 5-22-23.After several months of sending pictures of the drop in the water level, an ************************** company (i.e. ************ will be referred to as C1) was hired by me to locate any leaks in the pool. C1 performed leak detection test and found leaks in the skimmers and around the pool light. The repair estimate from C1 was sent via text message to TB on 8-6-23. After notifying TB that I had hired C1, TB suggested to bring ************************** that he uses for the leak repair (i.e. ************ used by TB will be referred to as C2). After attempting to coordinate with C2, I asked if TB would pay the amount that C1 quoted for repairs. The repair quote was sent again via text message on 11-11-23. After multiple attempts to contact TB with no response to resolve leaking from the skimmers that TB installed, TB was notified that I am requesting the return of the $2,500 which I paid for the Jandy controller (i.e. this has not been installed). As of 1-7-24 TB has not responded to my request.Business response
