Stay away from this company. Can't stress that enough. They mislead on services and lie, lie, lie. Anytime you need in-person help, because their batteries are always dying/system errors - they charge you. "Instead of paying a trip charge, you can add the $2.99/monthly service." What they DO NOT TELL you is that they renew your contract for 5 years!! I've been trying to get out of my contract since 2021. I was almost done with my 5 year contract and sick and tired of their B*llSh*t. By the way, their alarm got me fined $350 by the city because it went off due to their technical error. Did they reimburse/credit me? - NO. They are THIEFS. I've spoken to many of their 'managers' who tell me they will help me and will look into it but ghost me. The last guy I spoke to asked me to email him all my requests to cancel (going back to 2021). After a month, i called back to have them nudge him - again. Nothing. I've been trying to cancel my contract since i caught what they had done with that $2.99/monthly fee - that was in 2022. They said it was for the remaining time on my contract and those *ssholes, renewed it. Today I got another reminder to pay my bill. and here's the kicker - I NEVER used it. In all these years - I've used it maybe 3 times. The box they provided me is too complicated for my mom to use so it's never turned on or she'll set it off and yet they have me in a finger trap and won't let go. I hate this company and wish someone could regulate them like they do other industries.

This company signed a contract with my step-mother for 5 years. My step-mother died with 2 years left on the contract. While her house sits empty, the battery died, which means it is beeping incessantly, and there is no actual alarm system functioning. When my step-mother died, we called to cancel the contract (the signer was dead) and we were told that we could NOT cancel the contract. All they did is offer us a new contract in our name. They also offered to transfer the service to another address. We could not make them understand that we don't want their service at all, in any way, shape, or form. Furthermore, we DO NOT have the alarm code. So it's useless. Fast forward to this battery dying (when the electricity was turned off and back on), since it goes off constantly, it advertises the fact that the system is not functioning. Terrible security system. We cannot get a tech out there for three weeks to replace the battery for the system that we are stuck with. Multiple phone calls later, we are now stuck with a system that we don't want, and a battery chiming continuously. No-one who answered the phone seems to know what to do when the signer of the contract dies, nor do they know what we are supposed to do about the equipment when we sell the house. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The only reason that I give one star is that BBB wont let me post without giving at least one star.
