Their sales team talks a good game but the work performed was well below acceptable and once it was re-inspected it became evident that the electricians cut corners, did sloppy work and failed to meet basic code. DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER RIKMAN. The pipes they ran electrical wires had filled with water because the electrician didn't take the time to glue them together. RIKMAN IS DANGEROUS Inspectors Report: Neutrals and grounds are required to be bonded at the first means of disconnect. Need to separate neutrals and grounds in sub panel. Need proper pipe strap on riser pipe. Glue all pvc connections . Supplemental grounds need to be 6 ft apart. Ground wire not properly connect at ground clamp.

I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Rikman Generator Service. Initially, they provided me with a quote for their services, but upon their visit, they added an unexpected $2,900 to the price. This sudden increase was incredibly frustrating, especially considering that other companies had offered me more reasonable quotes. Moreover, their advice against using ****** and the discourteous behavior of their attendant left me concerned. What was even more disappointing was their reluctance to refund my money despite the unjustified price hike and the poor service I received. To add to my frustration, the price they quoted me for the permit did not align with the **** ** ********* requirements. I discovered that Rikman Generator Service charged me $550.00 for a permit that should have only cost $140.00. This lack of integrity and professionalism is truly disheartening. This caused further confusion and inconvenience. This entire ordeal has left me feeling unsatisfied and disheartened. I would caution others to carefully consider their options before engaging with Rikman Generator Service, as my experience highlights a lack of transparency, professionalism, and customer-oriented values within the company. Despite the expectation of a call from Jessica to address the situation, I never received any communication from her. On the whole, my experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would strongly advise exploring alternative options for getting this task accomplished.

Rikman (Andrew and Rodney) just installed our Generac (purchased from Lowe’s), arrived on time, were professional, cleaned up after installation, gave us a little tutorial on its operation, and gave us manuals with the phone number to call if we have any issues. They were efficient and courteous. We were very pleased with their service.
