      Estimate for sod placement in front yard according to drawing I sent contractor, signed on March 19, 2024. The companies *********************** Guarantee states, We guarantee to use only the best sod and grass seed available. Sod arrived April 29th & contractor ( ************************* owner ) arrived April 30th to plant sod. On May 13th I texted ***** a picture of weeds beginning to grow in a area where he had planted his sod. May 14th I sent another picture with the weeds he replied he would be in the area the following week. May 23rd I sent additonal fotos & asked him when he was coming to review & no response.Also contractor planted sod in a area that was not quoted which left a area that was quoted without sod. Amount paid in full

      We have contacted our Customer ****************** and explained in details what he was dealing with. We let ****************** know that his front lawn area he wanted patched was actually 968 sq ft and we only ordered 2 pallets as requested. These 2 pallets will cover 900 sq ft total. Do to a lot of cut ins and you have to take into account bad pieces that come in the pallet. You might get ******* sq ft total for the 2 pallets. ****************** was checking on us throughout the install and never said anything about an area we patched which was about ***** sq ft.We were there until 8pm when we finally cleaned up. ****************** was even out there helping us clean up his driveway and sidewalk. I did respond to ****************** photo he texted me. What was there was common Bermuda grass which actually is a weed. This common Bermuda grass was something that was and is present in his yard currently. The sod we put down is a hybrid St. ********* called Provista. It can go 4-6 weeks without watering once established and you might mow every 3-6 weeks. Depending on individual yard conditions. So in our warranty we recommend lawns are water for throughout our 3 weeks warranty and no mowing until we come back out to inspect. So during the 3 weeks of watering his common Bermuda grass grew faster than his new St. Augustine grass because of the watering and because this ********************** doesn't need to mowed for several weeks. So out of our pocket we sprayed his common Bermuda grass with one chemical specifically for St. Augustine grass. We sprayed the common Bermuda and let ******************* know she could finally mow that area of her lawn the next day and that it will take several days for the chemicals to start killing the *******. I also let ******************* know that they may need another spraying in 4-6 weeks. So I did my best to inform both Mr. ***** ******************* of there lawn situations and concerns. They can call me anytime if something arises or if they have any questions. We stand behind our warranty even after the warranty expires. Thank you
