Contracted AAA septic to install a new septic system in September 2023. They said they were complete and asked for full payment. But my sprinklers never worked. Found out there was never a pump installed. Finally got a pump in March. But still missing aerator and filter. Also tank lid need to be lifted as its about a foot below ground and getting covered by mud. Been told theyre coming repeatedly over the past months but dont show up or call. Been 9 months and still waiting on final inspection.

The company installed a septice system in the address of ******************************** on March of 2020. Cost $12k but the system was not working well all the time. In the recent weeks we asked third party company to check the problems for many days, they told us the system was totally failed , all the electrical circuits was shorted and need to be replaced, they finally found the cause is from the cracked pipes likely damaged by the guy who installed the system, since the *** pipe is impossible to be cracked in the soil , mush be damaged in the beginning.so the water was overflowing everywhere, the filter need to be replaced. Right now everything except the tank get the problem and we have to pay lot of money to fix that.

Have called multiple times in the last six months and they say they will call back or its on schedule but never call or show. They also have not completed any of the required services included in the contract.

They have order my missing Part already twice and have not installed it. I've call the and takes them years to answer. I'm just tired I didn't get the job done for free I paid them to have it installed. My sprinkler system doesn't turn on as well .

The septic system was installed May of 2022.  The property sat vacant without power. It wasn't until late last year that the septic system was hooked up and operational.  We did at the time used a used aerator due to not receiving our orders from the manufacturer in a timely manor.  We have since installed a new permanent aerator.  As far as being called to come out and check certain issues with the system we have been prompt within the day or next day of the call request.  We have made contact with occupants and also left service reports each time we visit the job site. As of the latest visit to the property the spray heads are spraying as designed.

Entered contract for services three times a year every four months, they have not been out this year after contacting them. This is a continuing issue that I have ended today. I am seeking a refund for the amount of $320 paid, they are in breach of contract. They also have my aerator which they now need to send back to me after being so rude in the email reply. I had to hire another company to come out and do what they wouldn't. I will also be contacting Denton County if they do not return my money as they are probably filing fraudulent information when they need to report as they have not performed the inspections every four months.

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/09/01) */ All of our previous services show to be routinely done. Our most recent scheduled service unfortunately didn't save properly to reflect a service due. We will be happy to extend your maintenance contract to accommodate for the lapse between services. We also have no records indicating a aerator was pulled or showing your system had any aerator issues. We can also have a comparable aerator shipped and exchanged through the manufacturer for you. Consumer Response /* (3000, 9, 2022/09/02) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They are lying. They have no records because they have not performed the routine services. They are in breach of contract. The aerator was picked up by them a couple of years ago and reworked and saved for when the one I bought was needing replacement. The service manager knows all this. I want an aerator to replace my original as they stated to me because now it seems they may have either misplaced, resold or lost my aerator. Give me mine or replace it and ship it or drop it off to me, at least I'll only lose the contract money you never honored or did any work on. What a terrible way to do business. Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2022/09/12) */ We have no records of any sort of a aerator being removed from your system and stored until needed. We would have some sort of paper trail notating so. We show we replaced a effluent pump in 2020. As I stated in my previous response. We can send a comparable aerator as what was allegedly pulled. Consumer Response /* (4200, 13, 2022/09/13) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The service manager is well aware of the situation, he's the one that recommended they keep it in case of future need. They need to stop lying. They have taken payment for $320 and perfomed no work. Send me the aerator and I will close this out. I'm not paying for the aerator nor for delivering it. I've lost enough money on this company. Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2022/09/25) */ Delivered operational, functional, comparable aerator. Consumer Response /* (2000, 17, 2022/09/28) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

I am not sure of the exact date ( had I know I'd have this issue I would've noted everything ) , but around May 15th or so, I had the alarm go off in the middle of the night on my septic system. I called AAA septic tank service and they send out two people to look at it, after cutting and splicing wires that showed no sign of damage, they said it was fixed and left. that evening the alarm went off again. they came back and said that the aerator was bad and it would have to be replaced or mine would have to be rebuild. I went for the rebuilt option. They took mine with them and told me it would take about 3 weeks to get it back, and in the mean time they would put in a loaner, which they did the next day. problem is the loaner set off the alarm the very next day.. They came back at some point and took the loaner out, saying it was bad, and they would bring in another one. It is now July 2, 2022, and I have yet to see a loaner or mine back. I have lost count on how many times I've called them see when the aerator is. In the beginning they would answer and tell me they would check and call me back shortly, they never did. for the last 3 weeks or so, they are completely ignoring my calls. Every time I call, it goes to voicemail, I leave messages to no avail. They never call back. My wife called from aa different number, and they answered, but as soon as she told them who she is, they hung up on her. I forgot to mention that on May 19, they sent me a bill for $ 231.40, for coming out to see why the alarm went off. A bill that I payed that same day. I need these people to return the part they took out weeks ago, because at this point I consider this theft. And I need them to refund my money for the rest of the contract I have with them. I do not want to have anything to do with this company after they bring back the part they took.

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/07/29) */ We have since spoken with the homeowner and explained aerator situation and status. We have a mutual understanding once the aerator is returned to us from the manufacturer and returned to the owners septic system.

Paid $275.00 for a 12 month service on Oct 2, 2020 with check number 3060- the company never came out to our home to service our septic so we called on Aug 12, 2021 and spoke to Jodi. After talking to Jodi he agreed to extent the contract to April of 2022 to service our septic every four months. On Aug 13,2021 someone did come out to service our system, but the company has not been out since. My wife works from home and is home every day, so it would be hard to not see them. We called the company again on Feb 1, 2022 again because AAA Septic Tank Service is not honoring the contract to come out every 4 months. When talking to Jodi he stated to me on Feb 1, 2022, that he shows Aug 13, 2021 was the last date of service. I have asked for a refund of my $275.00, but now when I try to call to get this issue resolved, the phone just goes to voice mail or no answer at all. We then received a notice in the mail on Feb 4 asking us to renewal the contract starting April 2,2022. From the reviews I have read, I don't think I will be able to resolve this issue without BBB assistance. All I want is my refund and that is it, we will find another company to service our septic.

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/24) */ The contract was extended and two services were performed and completed. The third service was pending due to a chlorine shortage that put most of our services on hold until we could provide chlorine upon each service visit. We started receiving chlorine in mid January allowing services to resume. We have offered to come out and do the third visit in which was declined. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/25) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Only one service was performed. My wife works from home and can see who comes and goes on the property. At no time was the chlorine shortage explain to us and now all of a sudden that is the excuse. After two years and only having one service performed, we are still due a refund. No service was declined, all we said was that we are done messing with this company and that we want a refund.

My septic system maintenance contract runs from June 1 to the end of May each year. I had been using AAA Septic for several years and my experience was that their technicians were good, but responses and response time from their office was not always good. Around April 30, 2021, I sent in a check for $210 for service from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022. Subsequently, I called on an issue and had to call back multiple times because the promised action and date had passed. I had to call another service to get the work completed. At that point, the broken promises were more than I wanted to continue with and on May 28, 2021, I contacted the company by email to notify them I did not want to renew my contract for 2021-2022 and to ask for a refund. I was told that since the contract clearly states it's not refundable and they had already notified the county, they would not issue a refund. I pointed out that contract had not yet started, so it wouldn't be reasonable not to refund the contract payment. I followed up saying since they had done work to notify the county, I would be satisfied with a partial refund. I was again pointed to the "no refunds" policy. Late in July, I contacted my lawyer to see what other avenues I had to resolve this issue fairly, and they sent a letter to AAA Septic, requesting the refund. I have not heard from them nor received a refund. I would like a refund for the service that was not provided on the contract that was not yet in force.

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/12/27) */ On May26,2021 the owner had contacted us to come out and check the septic system for a odor complaint. The owner was made aware atthe time of the call that if the technician did not make it out that afternoon the ticket would be placed on the route for the following morning. The maintenance contract states we have 24 hours to respond to alarm calls, odor calls etc... The next morning the owner called and refused services and cancelled the contract not giving us the opportunity to respond to the open ticket. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/12/31) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) The service contract goes from June to May each year. Each year, I send in payment for the entire year's service along with the 1-year contract. This year, I returned the contract and sent in the payment a bit earlier than I usually do just to have that task out of the way. The contract was not due to start until June 1, 2021. My request for a refund (made on May 28) pertains to the contract that had NOT YET STARTED. It doesn't pertain to the contract in force in May and is not related to the lack of service incident that occurred in May. I introduced the May incident only to show that I had good reason to cancel the agreement for service for May 2021 to June 2022 shortly after entering into the agreement. I was unhappy with the promises over more than a week that the technician would be out on a given date, only to have it not happen. I had to call another service to get my issue addressed in the time period I needed it to happen. For that reason, I did not want to enter into another year's contract with the company and so I notified them of that PRIOR TO THE START of the next contract time frame. Because the contract had not yet started, I believe it's reasonable to be refunded the payment and that is my request. The business's response did not address this issue.
