Absolutely abhorrent and corrupt company!!! Impossible to get a representative on the phone. They claim that I was without insurance, which is a total lie and I have the proof to back it up. Also impossible to get loan documents on their portal. Never trust this awful company!!

I have been dealing with Selene since February and have gotten no where. My mortgage was "sold" to Selene. We were in a hardship situation that has extended back a few years, in which case ***** played a part. Anyways, since my mortgage was sold to Selene its been a nightmare for my family including my 92 and 95 year old in-laws living with us. We complete a Borrower Assistance Form for a modification. Within 30 days we received a reply from Selene with a mortgage payment of 2.5 times of our previous payment. No modification was offered just a straight 30 year conventional loan. According to HUD, a modification payment plan should be both affordable and manageable. Their customer service people are cold and have no interest in working to find a resolution. Neither was the case, I believe the people who run the numbers may need more training. We believe after going back and forth multiple times and sending in other paper work and documents to support what we could afford, they did not offer and compromise, in the way of a modification program, which there are many options available to make payments affordable and manageable. Selene is a BULLY, threatening us that our house with 5 of us and my in-laws will be sold at auction shortly, not willing to work with us on a modification program when there are clearly options available. Anyone can research them. Illegal business practices, by law we are to know our investor and Selene says that we do not have that right. They are clearly the worst mortgage company!! Any advise will help. I would like to seek out legal help to stop these BULLIES. And work with a company with honesty and compassion. Not worried about destroying families. Remember what KARMA stands for Selene!! I'd like to know who Selene is paying off so they can stay in business?

SELENE FINANCE IS THE WORST MORTGAGE COMPANY I HAVE COME ACROSS. I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET ANSWERS TO MY QUESTIONS REGARDING A PARTIAL CLAIM MORTGAGE AND WHEN YOU SPEAK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY TELL ME, I HAVE TO EMAIL THE LOAN MODIFICATION ***** I DO THAT. THE LOAN MODIFICATION **** TELLS ME I HAVE TO DEAL WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. AFTER SPEAKING WITH 7 DIFFERENT PEOPLE OVER A TIME PERIOD OF 2 MONTHS, I STILL CANNOT GET A REPLY. I AM EITHER DISCONNECTED OR THE PEOPLE HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON. I FIND IT AMAZING THAT THEY ARE EVEN STILL IN BUSINESS. TODAY I HAVE BEEN ON THE ***** WITH A GENTLEMAN WHO HAS NO CLUE WHAT HE IS DOING AND SAYS I CANNOT SPEAK WITH A SUPERVISOR. SINCE I CANNOT GET ANYWHERE, I WILL CONTACT MY ATTORNEY AND SEE WHAT HE CAN DO

I have been divorced three years now and Selene has yet to change my last name on the account. The ****************** recognizes me with my maiden name that the courts returned to me as did the social security acknowledges. How can Selene refuse to acknowledge my name and not change it in their system. The ****************** acknowledges it so so Should Selene.

My mortgage was sold to this company. This no doubt the WORST mortgage company I have come across. I had to report them for charging me fees such as appraisal fee for transferring the mortgage. Tgis xharge was removed after report them to BBB. I'm still fighting to have the service fee removed as I d did not have any involvemwnt in the mortgage to being sold. I cannot wait for the mortgage to be resold to another company. Absolutely the worst company and payment is always a issue on their website. They took double payments when not authorized and disrupted my entire bank account. Had to put a stop payment on the payment.

Very difficult to deal with, no one will help us resolve an issue. We have been trying for 2 years, called over 25 times they say they will take care of it, they dont. I am at my **** end with this company.

This is the worst mortgage servicing company around!! After not receiving a 1098 by mid February, I started contacting Selene Finance. They told me they were aware their website wasn't showing this information and they would mail me a 1098. I have contacted Selene at least 7 times and it's now the 8th of March and still no 1098. I contacted them again and they said when they told me they were mailing out a 1098 it was a lie and I would never get one!! What mortgage company doesn't send out a 1098??!! Unreal...

Absolutely horrible company. My mortgage was sold to this "company" and it has been a total disaster since they have been the holder. First off, they make it almost impossible to get in contact with anyone via phone. The system just takes you in circles and when you finally get to the option to speak with someone, you will be on hold for about 45 minutes before you are just dropped from the que, this has happened multiple times. So you say email customer service, well that's all in good, email them and get the email back that they received the email and will be in contact shortly, which never happens. They screwed up my escrow, and I can't get in contact with anyone to get my PMI taken off or redo the escrow. This company is not customer friendly in any way shpe or form! Stay away if you can!

Awful lender. Illegal practices. Somebody needs to shut them down. There are 2 ******** pages about how awful Selene Finance is!Customer service representatives will regularly disconnect the call when you are being transferred. 2 hours on the phone with them is common. Of course Selene finance doesn't see that because anytime there is a problem and the representative transfers you they just hang up so the call begins again. Also, don't fax them anything! Every document I have faxed has been lost, never entered into my account or according to Selene had missing pages. This has happened repeatedly. Additionally they claimed my payment was late when it was their inept accounting. Fortunately I have copies of everything but the amount of time I have wasted because of Selene is ridiculous. I am going to be refinancing for no other reason than to not deal with such an incompetent company. Someone could easily get into a lot of trouble with them for no reason of their own. Watch out.

Selene Finance deserves ZERO star. There is nothing good about this company. My mortgage was sold to this company 7months ago. it has been a terrible experience of my life. No coupon for payments, they will get the payment on time and will not cash the check on time, just for them to add late fee. I mailed in a check on December 23rd for ******* payment. till today they have not cash the check, the worst part is that you can never get anyone to talk to. No communication of any kind either by Email, text or call. They are fraudster. I am looking for a reliable **************** to transfer my loan to.
