Horrible company that overbills its patients. If you do not believe me just ****** "Inform Diagnostics". Read the negative reviews and see how many times the ********** of ******* has sued them for fraud, illegal kickbacks to referring physicians, overbilling patients, submitting false claims to insurance providers and ********* etc. In my case they billed my insurance company $2,000 for a biopsy from throat scope. My doctor never got a authorization from my insurance company for this biopsy and since Inform Diagnostics is not even in my insurance partner network. Now I owe $2,000 to these **** criminals. I guess I will just have to report this fraudulent activity to the *************************

On Aug. 12, 2022, I received by regular mail, in an envelope without a postmark, a bill for $72.07 (the difference not covered by my insurance) from Inform Diagnostics. I had never heard of Inform Diagnostics (checks were payable to **********************), but the statement (dated Aug. 2) said I had until Aug. 23 to pay - or 11 days to make calls to **************** and insurance company, put a check in the mail in southern **********, and hope it arrives in time to ******, *****. (Aug. 12 was a Friday: I would have 8, not 11, days.) My insurance company (Cigna) told me it was first in touch with Inform/***** on July 15, and on July 19 made payment. That means it took Inform/***** more time (15 days) to generate a statement than the company was giving me to pay the balance. I paid the bill on time. Still, what company uses regular mail, then gives customers 21 days (not a month) to pay? A company looking to make extra money by unfairly assessing a late fee.

We have not been able to determine why the statement dated 08/02 was not received until 08/12. The statement file was printed and mailed on 08/02 by our vendor and no delays showing on their end. We received our remit and payment from Cigna on 07/26 so allowing a couple days for posting of the payment, the statement generated on 08/02. We do appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We are evaluating the # of days between statement date and due date for changes to allow for any mail delays. There would be no late fees applied if not paid by the due date.

This company failed to give my results due to information missing. Did not seek to find information missing and billed me for no work being done. I paid the bill and the check was cashed on 8/17 and continued to bill me for the same incomplete results.

We apologize you are unhappy with our services. The patient has two Dates of Service with Inform Diagnostics, February 2022 and March 2022, both with completed results provided to the referring clinician. On both Dates of Service the insurance carrier provided by the referring clinician was denied due to expenses incurred after coverage terminated. The patient was sent a total of 2 letters and 4 statements asking the patient to contact our office to provide updated insurance information. The patient submitted payment for the March Date of Service with no phone calls or outreach to our billing office prior. We have no records of the patient reaching out to Inform Diagnostics to obtain results or provide updated billing information.

This company is a criminal one. They over charge on purpose. They work with insurance company to only get the most money out of customers. Honestly this company should be sued and shut down. Just look at all their complaints. One day this company will have to answer for it's wrong doing to their customers.

      Inform Diagnostics Response

Inform Diagnostics billed the patient per the patient responsibility of the patient's health insurer's Explanation of Benefits. As of the Date of Service in mid-May, the patient had about $2,500 remaining of their In-Network deductible with their health insurance company. Our claim was billed to the patient's health insurance company after we performed the medical services, and the claim was processed by the insurance company about 27 days later. The patient's health insurance company processed the claim for the contracted fee schedule, applying that amount to the patient's in-network deductible. The patient was billed by our company in mid-June. We worked with this individual and provided a number of flexible repayment options, one of which the patient accepted.

This is comical. Do you know this lab company works with insurance companies to make sure anyone with health insurance gets the highest charges? Even better if you haven't reached your deductible. This is how they make their money. They get the most money out of those clients with health insurance. If I had zero health coverage for my child, this company would charge $100. For a minor, $100 with no coverage at all. However, I am expected to pay $830, on top of monthly insurance premiums. That is how this health care system works because the people with health care will most likely be responsible and pay for it. Do you know this lab ran these and my insurance without any communication to me? Charged me for something I never accepted or gave full authorization. I never excepted an agreement. I did not get a choice. Your customer service reps could not even really explain to me why the charges were the way they were, and why I was even being charged from them. But to bad, I have an agreement with United Health and I just have to pay it. Even with my insurance being in network. I think this is such bad business in health care. This is the exact reason our health care system is so broken! I said, you can find many other angry customers. Just take a look at their reviews! Doesn't seem to be working out so great. I hope more people and patients speak up
for an outrageously over charged bill. Question them! Make them try to make sense of it being anything more then a criminal racket!
