    Like the other customers who purchased a Southern ********** electric fireplace, Product #FA5123, we are having the same issue with the insert. Error Code #** when we turn on the heat for the insert. After placing 3 calls to customer service and no response, and if you choose any other options from their recording, no one answers their phone. I have also tried other numbers found online, and no answers. We are now filing a complaint with the BBB. Fireplace was puchased on 11/2023 from ****** online and delivered to our ******. I did speak with ****** and they said I could return the entire fireplace, and go thru the whole process of ordering another fireplace. I want a new insert only. Thank you,

    I paid close to $500 for this fireplace from Wayfair or Overstocked in 2016. Lasted about 3 years of sporadic usage, and now does nothing but beeping from the moment you plug it in til you unplug it which started in 2019 and I just let it sit. They KNOW this is an issue as there are reviews all over with this exact problem, yet when you call they will gladly replace it with a new unit for the sum of $175. No parts are made for the unit, no apologies for shoddy construction, just want more $$. For the amount of money the unit costs up front, it should last more than three years...

    Southern Enterprises understands your frustrations; however, this unit is 4 years out of warranty. The original purchase date was 12/6/2016 and the item has a 1 year warranty. As with any type of electrically item, components will fail due to many reasons but the most common is electrical surges or over loading the outlet.

    Sad that your company offers such poor backing of their product. It has had it's own outlet since I got it and we have very clean electric in this area. You KNOW it is a problem, pretty much everyone on here has the exact complaint!
