I had Airheads HVAC install a new **** system (cost 17K) in my house around NOV8/9 of 2021, since the initial installation I have had them out 3 times to fix the plenum as air is leaking from around the plenum. I had another appoint scheduled on 2/4 for them to come back to replace and fix the entire plenum, but on 2/3 the owner ******* called to tell me that he believes I have sabotaged the system and the Plenum. He said his repairman ***** had picture that showed the Plenum was torn. The conversation was an attack on me and accusing me of destorying the plenum. I expained to him that I had to go but 3 space heaters to heat my house costing me an additional 300 dollars to help heat my home, why would I destory something that I know would cost me more money. ******* the owner told me they would fix it but I would have to pay for it, as I explain to him this was he companies responsibility to fix the plenum as it was never done right. I told him he could take the **** out and return my money, he's response was he could not longer talk to me. I feel the reason he called, was so he could let me know they would not repair unless I paid more money, I expained the only choice I had was get a lawyer. He said he would no long talk to me. From a consumer what recourse to I have to get the job repair. Airheads already has their money .

      03/03/2022

As always, AirHeads HVAC appreciates and welcomes any type of customer feedback. We appreciate the time ******************** took to leave this review and will take every word into consideration. However, in the interest of letting any potential future customers know that we do not operate in the manner that was described by ********************, please allow me to clarify some things.

We did do a new System install for ******************** in November of 2021. Months later ******************** called us to let us know he was not feeling strong airflow in some of the rooms in his house. Once we had a technician do an investigation, it was determined that our installing technician had failed to seal the plenum to our standards, therefore allowing the conditioned air to escape into the attic as opposed to heating/cooling the house. We returned to Mr. ********* home and made a permeate repair to the plenum, as we have a Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty on all our installs.

Days later ******************** called into the office again stating that there is now a several inch wide hole in his newly sealed plenum. Airheads sent a technician out to investigate once again. The investigating technician did find a large tear in the plenum, as well as sections of plenums crushed, our supporting blocks knocked away and our special threaded tape ripped. None of these damages are naturally occurring damages. I then called ******************** to speak with him about what we found.

******************** claimed that I, the General Manager, called him on February the 3rd and that I was accusing him of destroying his plenum. ******************** then said, The conversation was an attack on me and accusing me of destroying the plenum." However, if you were to listen to our recorded phone conversation, you would never hear me attack ******************** in any way, nor would you hear me accuse him of any malicious intent or sabotage. I did ask ******************** if anyone else had gone into the attic after my technicians had finished their repairs. I also informed ******************** that the damage done to that ductwork was in no way natural and some force had acted upon in.

I did tell ******************** that we could fix the issues we have had with his plenum as we carry a Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty on all our installs, however in this instance he would have to pay for this repair as our warranty does not cover malicious destruction.

I, the General Manager, did tell ******************** that I could no longer talk to him once he mentioned in our conversation that he would be pursuing the help of a lawyer. It is our company policy to no longer speak to any customer who wishes to pursue legal action against the company.

In closing, we believe that the ductwork was damaged in an attempt to force AirHeads HVAC to replace entire sections of the propertys duct system. For any further clarifying questions, please reach out to *****************************************
