What was the date May 2 2025 I went to AutoNation to have my car diagnostic ticking noise and he said it was my belts and some kind of electronic device and it was gonna cost me $313.87 I made appointment to take it in. He kept it three days before he touched shoot it I had to rent a rental car for 200 and some dollars. And then he said he had one more day to make another diagnostic because I said he said I had to live with ideal. It did not fix the ticking noise so anyway, I told him I had to take it back. One more day was gonna cost me another hundred dollars so all altogether for the diagnostic fee was $413.99 and I said no dont fix it. I just put belts on there. He just put belts on the car for the *** so I wasnt gonna live with something that wasnt gonna be fixed so I had to pay him out-of-pocket over $413.99and I asked the manager to help me pay for it because I made an appointment for my truck. It took three days to get to it. I had to get a rental car. GMC would not help me out on the rental car and then I had to pick it up. Bring it back for one more day and I had to get a rental car , I think it was wrong because I made an appointment for that car for my truck and ***** says well it might not fix it. Nothing was wrong with the belts. Nothing was wrong with the electronics. I took it to my shop in ************ and they said it was due to the manifold the Ticking noise didnt have nothing to do with no belts no kind of electronics just the manifold so they fixed it for $400 and they said nothing was wrong with the belts. The belts The rotary that goes that turns the belts I told manager ************************* GMC they kept for four days and I had to have a rental car and that was wrong that *****, Took a vantage Of me I made an appointment for my carracism. I think the idea he treated me so bad because I was black and I was a woman and he took a vantage of me, supposed to be a GMC to uphold the manufactures brand and they took advantage of me .

I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler on Friday evening 2/10/23. I drove two hours north to CC to purchase it. The heater did not work on the way home, off the lot. I immediately told the salesperson who sold me the vehicle and asked that he immediately notify services. The headlights were also installed improperly and did not line up horizontally. I was told to bring it back to AN on Monday 2/13 to have it serviced. My husband brought it in at 9am after driving two hours to CC and the service department has still not resolved the issue at 3pm. The 125 point inspection says the heater had no issues, which is incorrect. The service department will not get on the phone with me and suddenly everyone is out of the office. This should be repaired, at no cost, at a location of my choosing due to the problem already existing before I drove off the lot.

I am rejecting this response because: although the heater issue was resolved, there is a new issue with the Jeep Wrangler. I have not owned the vehicle 30 days and the main rear seal is broken in the engine. Again, this should not be an issue when the business advertises a 125 point inspection. The oil is leaking from the engine. I will be taking it to a Jeep dealership this week to find out what the cost to repair will be. I did purchase a warranty from the dealership so I will follow up to advise whether or not this issue will be repaired under warranty.

I actually spoke with her yesterday about her concerns. She thought she needed to bring the vehicle back to us to get it checked. A two hour drive for her. I suggested for her to take it to a local dealer and have it checked out. She as a great extended warranty. I told her if she needs our help we can help her. I will be waiting for her follow up phone call.

I purchased a 2016 GMC ****** **** SLE, 4x4, 5.3 L, In June 2017, from Autonation BuickGMC in Corpus Christi, TX. Months after purchase, at around 20k miles, I experienced a vibration/shudder issue with the vehicle at various speeds, becoming a safety concern for myself and family, the vibration was pretty significant, feeling like vehicle could fail at any moment. I took it to Autonation Buick GMC in Corpus Christi dealership multiple times, at around 20k, 40k, 60k, 80k miles. in order to ***** the issue. Without checking vehicle they blamed tires/wheels, balancing, suspension, multiple times, avoiding issue of torque converter when I informed them.I took my truck to over ***** mechanics all over the state, checking my suspension, balancing, alignment, bought new tires/wheels with same result, no mechanic found any issues with either my suspension or tires/wheels.One of the last times I took my vehicle back to the dealership, once again they blamed the tires, however they actually tested my truck, using 2 pairs of their own tires/wheels, in order to test their theory that the tires were to blame. After they tested vehicle, it still had the vibration issue even with varying tires/wheels. They concluded that they didn't know what the issue was and could not fix the issue, and send me on my way. Same statement was repeated, they told me their maybe warranty issues and they would charge me alot of money, they had no loaners and had long wait time. One of the managers at the dealer, since I wanted them to diagnose my vehicle under warranty, stated to me that "They prioritized based on how much money they would make on vehicle maintenance", so since they wouldnt make money off my vehicle they wouldnt get to it for a while. I took offense to this, which is when I reported them to GM manufacturer, NHTSA, some law firms, DPS, etc. My transmission finally failed due to torque converter on 1/25/23. while on the road, causing unsafe conditions for myself and other drivers.

***************** contacted us at the dealership stating that he is having a transmission issue. He stated that he had had the vehicle brought into the dealership for transmission issues in the past. The vehicle came in on 3/30/2018 RO # ******  for an oil and filter change ******* miles, RO#****** 2/21/2019 ***** miles terrible vibration at 65 mph and the rear tires feel like they are hopping. Tires were out out of balance and one of them had water in it. Guest took vehicle to have the tires replaced. Ro# ****** ******* miles vibration at 45 mph and gets worse the faster you go. We installed a set of tires to check for vibration and found the shocks were possibly causing the concern. RO# ****** recall n192268490 electronic brake control module and a stabilitrack light was on, no work was completed he only wanted it noted.RO# ****** ******* miles vehicle shakes between ***** mph. Removed mud from the tires. I had told *************** that GM has a process on wich they may be able to assist him with his concern. He brought the vehicle in on 1/27/2023 ******* miles and stated that the vehicle would not shift once warmed up on two different acassions. We followed ************** Protocall, We checked the transmission and found it needed to be overhauled. We did a PET policy evaluation tool on 2/6/2023. The total to repair the vehicle was $5491.49. GM denied any assistance. **************** denied to move forward with the repairs. I told him I would contact GM and do a DMA. Complaint: 18904626

I am rejecting this response because:

I just read ****************** response to the complaint, Yes currently, I escalated the issue and contacted ********************* directly, he is the district service manager presiding over this dealership,

Regarding ****************** response, No work within proper boundaries was ever rejected from my standpoint or did I request anything to be solely noted, this is a false statement, I requested assistance that covered the power train system of the vehicle (transmission, torque converter), which was ignored and for example the stabilitrak and brake control system which was another issue where they were supposed to replace the whole pump for brake system and they only re-programmed the system which they mentioned may or may not resolve the issue, issue still occurs, vehicle brakes still slip at low speeds, which is a separate safety issue.
I also told them about an electronic issue with the auxiliary power outlet inside vehicle, which they also didn't mention, which may be caused by a short in the system, eventually these issues lead to others.

Not sure why ****************** stated that I only requested something to be noted and did not mention the transmission, when I spoke to their service managers/advisors, many times, I mentioned the popular torque converter shudder many times, and they kept blaming my tires, in addition they never mentioned my shocks to me at ANY point as being an issue, which the shocks were no issue.

Like I stated in my complaint, my tires were not the issue, they tested that theory themselves, twice with separate tires and wheels, and once they crossed tires out as being the issue, they handed my keys over and stated " we don't know what the issue is, we don't know what more we can do".

Moreover, I believe I also mentioned this in the complaint, one of the service managers, stated to me in person, that their priorities laid more in making money for their mechanics, so they tend to focus more on jobs where money is made, rather then aiding a customer under warranty. This was a statement made by a manager. (Note: Can obtain and supply manager name)

I apologize for the long email, but this complaint needs to be known, I had employees at the dealership state to me in person, that they would not purchase vehicles from their own dealership due to poor service overall. I can supply the individual if needed, but I'm not sure if he would agree to speak or repeat said statements.

I am a mechanical engineer, with many years of experience and have worked in manufacturing in the past for our US military, by building and repairing military Aircraft, I am very familiar with engineering systems/products, customer support, safety and quality standards and regulations, I was also an auditor, executing engineering  Audits, regarding quality, safety and product integrity for our aircraft. And the way this dealership operates, from service, to deceptive practice, ethics and customer relations, is a problem and should not be operating in this fashion.

      Regards,
