I had Superior Services & Maintenance install a fence in my back yard in December of 2020. They provided a 2 year labor warranty. Part of my fence has shifted and I can no loner close my back gate. I called them to inspect it and fix the issue and they said on two occasions they would come out and realign the fence, and then pull the posts and re seat them into the ground. They never came and are no longer returning my phone calls.Business response

I met with **************** and advised him that we could pull out that section of fence and reset it. On the day we were headed out to take care of the section I called **************** and asked him if we where able to reuse his existing materials since the fence was screwed together so we could save him some money. At this point he told me that the fence was still under Warranty and it just needed to be fixed. We simply did not set the post crooked. This issue is caused by the failure over time to maintain proper hydration around the fence post footings. Not keeping the proper hydration around the fence post footings will cause the ground to dry up and pull away from the post footings and or the side of the house where the section is located. I have attached a picture of the downspout from the gutter that is literally funneling all the water directly into that section. The spout is lower than the sidewalk. It appears that any water would be trapped in that section creeping between any cracks and causing soil erosion. This issue is not due to Superior installing anything incorrect.

I am rejecting this response because:****** has refused to and return my calls for over two weeks. This is highly unprofessional. And none of these concerns were brought up to me. He said that he would come out on certain days to perform the work. And he never showed on two seperate occasions. If it is a hydration issue why do I not have this problem at any other part of my fence that I had installed?

Again let me state that the problem you are having has nothing to do with our installation. I strive to keep all my customers happy. At the end of the day you need to get that section replaced to get the gate operable. I think we can salvage most of your materials since we used screws to fasten the fence together. I feel that I can get this resolved for you if your willing to pay for any materials need to get it done. Call me direct or respond back through email..Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I do not understand how this does not fall under the warranty you provided for the work performed. And why only after contacting the BBB that you decide to reach out to me after multiple phone calls and messages.
