This shop installed the wrong size tire on our Coach in November 2022 at the cost of ****. Discovered it a month later when we took the Coach into another shop in *********** for additional repairs TLO stated they couldn't do. The Coach had been in storage from the day it was picked up from TLO November 17th to December 10th when Coach was taken to ***********. I immediately notified ***** at TLO of their error & was given assurances they would take care of it when our Coach was back from ***********. The other shop anticipated repairs would be done mid January, however they took way longer than anticipated for the repairs due to supply and other issues. Mid February the *********** shop replaced the incorrect tire. ***** at TLO approved this course of action as he was having difficulty locating the correct tire and he stated they would take the tire back and refund our money. The day after we got the Coach back from the shop in ***********, April 17th we attempted to return the tire. The owner ***************************** refused to accept the return stating we didn't have it back to him within 90 days. We stated that we were never informed of a 90 day time limit in the several conversations we had with *****. If we had been we would have driven to *********** to pick up the tire and return it. He subsequently has admitted that he didn't know about the 90 day time limit either until he contacted the supplier but it didn't matter he would not take it back and refund our money. In addition he felt my wife had offended him by being upset by him refusing to take the tire back and he wouldn't do anything. We are now stuck with a $**** tire we can't use.
