My a/c went out. I was referred to ***************************** and spoke to him June 24, He said he could not come out until June 27. So I had him meet with the property mgr so she could let him in and diagnose the problem. I texted him on June 28, to see if he had gone. I received an estimate on June 29 for $1520.00. He told me that there were no units in stock right now and factory is **** weeks out on new equipment. He mentioned he found one but had to be shipped in and would arrive in 4 days. So I agreed to let him do the work per estimate price. On July 5, he told the property mgr he needed 1/2 down pymt before he would do the install. I texted him back and paid him by credit card. After he ran my credit card, he then proceeded to tell me that he had just talked to the distributors and that the unit had not shipped yet and would take 3-4 days. I told him the reason I paid him half down was because he led me to believe had had the unit. So I let it go and waited to hear from him. July 11, I texted him to check status on the unit with no response. I texted him again on July **************************************************************************************************************************** yet. At this point, I was frustrated due to his lack of communication that I told him that if he couldn't get the unit shipped or can't do the install as it is a busy time to let me know and just refund me my deposit. He responds back by telling me he had no problem returning my money and that he's spending lots of time on this and not even billing. So maybe its best I find someone else. He wanted to send me a check but told him I wanted my card refunded and to just send the receipt when it was done. No response from him. Texted him again July 13 and today with no response. I finally left a voicemail that I was disputing the credit card charge and filing a complaint with BBB. He finally responded with refunds take time.
