Builder did not finish house. Left punch list unfinished. Incredibly unprofessional and yelling at buyers (us). Told us septic was pool ready. Put it in the contract and will not honor correcting it. Would definitely not suggest this builder to anyone.

Hi there first of all most of our communication  has been thur email or text that’s how we been communicating. We have been waiting to be  paid the final payment of the overages to finalize there punch list. We would ask for the buyer to provide us there punch list to be email for us to take a look at and resolve there punch list items. The last text we had from buyer was ( what is our stucco color)please email your list to *****************

we can resolve the punch list issue

we need to finalize the payment due to Devonshire $3900 for the stairs

homeowner did pay for the other items that he owned but didn’t want to pay the stairs till the punch list gets done.
we don’t work like that we need to be paid for the work and then we can attend to the punch list.
please remove your false pictures you have posted on my ******** page You didn’t own the home during the time to post any pics of that time. Until we receive our money with interest I will not be able to take care of any punch list till we are paid in full

      thank you

I am rejecting this response because:

Per the contract, the builder is required to complete the punch list and correct the septic which states that it is pool ready. We have never Received workorders for The supposable overages. The punch list was sent via email multiple times and was sent to buildings mailing address but was refused.

Everything has been through email and text at the convenience of the builder. We have specified we wanted phone calls, but builder refuses to pick them up. We even had to use different numbers to get him to answer.

Everything that was supposed to be completed is well past the legal limit required for completions. Builder took our money and focused on completing other houses instead of fixing the issues at our house and is using”supposed” overages as his excuse, so he can get past the 1 year warranty, so he does not “need” to correct them. It is not the buyers responsibility to correct everything that they have.

Builder is incredibly unprofessional and it is clear through the way he manages his business and through the other ratings he has gotten on his now deleted ********.

we are not interested in excuses. We expect the builder to correct everything in the house and outside of the house per the contract and as stated in the contract.

      Regards,

I  have asked to get there latest punch  list sent to me and I still have not received that. Yes a check was given for the heat pump and added garage door, Mr **** stated that he would pay for the upgraded  stairs at a later time once the list was completed. I requested that I will need to be paid for that work, to pay the trim carpenter and painter. I have since then paid out of pocket already for those items, while I been waiting to be paid by the owner. The contract  states that no work should continue until any overages are paid in full. Am not going to be threaten by the homeowner. Obviously they have there own opinions, I asked number of times to send me there punch list and none has been provided  one. How Come the punch list has not been provided in there attachment? Please attach or email your list to *****************. Unfortunately I can’t do any work until we are paid for the stairs. ( customer upgraded to go with wood stairs) builder completed the stairs has yet to be paid , how come they paid for the other items but not for the stairs?
regarding the pool I was never told or the specific on what type of pool was going to be installed You can have a pool not a underground but you can have a above ground pool. I was never told the specific of the pool until the onwer moved in and was requesting a underground pool. ( this was 3-4 mths after closing ,they text me the pool size and specifications) how am suppose to deal with that after the fact? How come this information was not noted or given to us before escrow of the contract.
onwer needs to remove the false picture and information off our ******** page. I never said I wouldn’t complete there list but I won’t allow the owner to post false information about my company first of all. The onwer has my phone number they have texted me numerous times about questions about other things, we look forward in helping them to resolve there punch list
      Thank you
