Agreed to a contract to remodel a room with new doors and windows. Room was to include insulation and Sheetrock. There was to be a large fenced in area for dogs. Contract was signed on 11/18/2022 with work starting on 11/21/2022. All that was done was to destroy the room and no remodeling attempted. Provided a check in the amount of $4500 which was cashed.

Construction contract - 2/19/23 started End date 4/20/23 Work was done illegally with No permits and poorly constructed. We continuously asked for insuance, bond, blue prints, and permits from the day we signed the contract to date no permit has been pulled and the city has come out and placed a fine and a stop work order until permits and blue prints are received. The city representative advised she was very concerned with the electrical wire hitting to top of the portion constructed and advised it was a major fire issue. Due to all her concerns we have since fired him as well as all the lies and the contract ending.

On 11/8/2022 *********************** - your vision construction and ******* fencing etc. initiated a contract for a room, bathroom, laundry room addition that was to be completed in a month.**** asked for the down payment- 60% up front and then within the next week or so pressured ** to give him more money by adding an additional bathrooom remodel to the contract. Ithe additional bathroom was gutted then left for a few months until he finally agreed to give a small portion of the money back- that we had to use to finish it ourselves. In the last 4 months- about 30-40% of the work is done, The check at the city for the permit bounced, the roof was left open causing water damage/mold in 3 rooms of my house requiring me to make an insurance claim, the electrical isn't up to code, we have to call/text constantly to get anyone out to work for s couple of hours, different subcontractors would come each time and they were always blamed for the project taking so long, he would claim to "have it done - in a week" "im getting things together" etc. but it was more of the same. He doesn't answer calls or has someone else call to say "we will be there tomorrow" but it seldom is true. He claimed he would pay $50 a day for every day past the proposed end date (now at about $4000) I gave notice to terminate the contract based on lack of workers, unreasonable delay, lack of up to date liability insurance, and breach of contract. However he refuses to refund any amount of money even though we have tried to make fair arrangements. He hasn't given any reason to be trusted to finish the job, he yells at his costumer and his employees, he lies to his costumer, and he has done this to several people.

Construction contract was signed on Oct 20, 2022 to remodel kitchen and a load bearing beam with columns. Defendant was given payment ($9000.00), equal to 3/4 of the cost of the entire project, on Oct 20,2022 to begin project. As of today (3-16-2023) only 20% of the project has been completed. The contract states that the project was to be fully completed by November 4th, 2022 by Your Vision Construction (formally known as ******* Remodeling). Contractor (***********************) has not communicated with me in over 2 weeks. The last meaningful work on this project was done on December 5th, 2022. A breach of contract has occurred at two levels. First breach is the contractual obligation of the completion date of November 4th, 2022 that was not met, Second breach is the contractor knowing at the time of the contract signing that there was no general liability and no builders risk insurance in place, for my project, that was documented in the contract. The binder that the contractor provided me two months after the initial work began was shown to be not in effect and was actually cancelled by the contractor on July 25th, 2022 (per the phone communication I had with the insurance company that contractor provided me). I am seeking a refund of $7800.00 from Your Vision construction. I believe the contractor has no intention of finishing this project. I have researched this contractor in the past few weeks and have found that it has been in the news from a Channel *********************************** the past. I wish I would have done my research earlier. Can you assist me on this issue.
