Brought a ring into Aman's to have the stone re set because the prongs were loose. They fixed it on the spot for 20 dollars, when it came back I realized the stone wasn't set properly, it was crooked. It was secure in place but who wants a crooked stone in a ring? When asked to fix it they immediately told me it would be another 100 dollars for a re set of the stone, the thing that should have been done in the first place. That's price gouging and not completing an original task done and paid for. Doesn't help they were incredibly condescending about the whole process. The first pic is of the receipt from the work they did at Aman's The second pic is of the receipt that another jeweler did it for, which was only 10 dollars rather than their ridiculous quote of $100. I should mention they were not willing to even apply the 20 dollars that I originally spent toward fixing their own mistake. Instead they opted to keep the money and insinuate their own shoddy work must be my fault and I must have made the stone crooked within the 1 day I had it back from them.I want my money back, not only terrible work, but also for trying to price ***** customers.Business response

I am so sorry for this indecent Happen Once I found out with my employee All We did is tighten the Stone nothing else. tinging the stone does not make the ring crooked her husband pick up her ring it was fix right he did not mention it was not done right also why would we give the ring not fix She brought back the ring next day saying ring is ***** it anything could happen between the time they have the ring my employee said he did not say any price to fix it he said it will be extra cost we been in business over 25years we do not do price gouging Employee said costumer start getting mad n left didn't want to speak to manger i could take care this matter sooner if they will bring it to my attention if is any further question or concern i will take care off it please let me know thanks
