On 2/23/23 I took my vehicle in for a routine oil change. I work majority from home and my vehicle stays parked and rarely travels more than 10 miles away from home. I drive a 2019 Range Rover with less than 40k miles. ***** a **uple months, my car just **mpletely shut off and my car would not turn back on. I towed my vehicle to the nearest dealership, 150 miles away, and they informed me, without a doubt that whoever did my last oil change did not service my vehicle properly. They mentioned one part was put in backwards and the chassis was not tightened which caused oil to leak from the top and onto the generator/alternator which then caused it to short/fail/burn out. When I **ntacted the branch that serviced my vehicle, they told me the district manager would reach out to me which took a week. Spoke with ****(DM) and he said they would file a claim through their insurance **mpany, Intrepid. This took another week. Another week without a 2nd car for our family of 5. For the next month, their insurance ** was supposed to be **mmunicating with the dealership to gather information. ***** a month, no word from the insurance **. The dealership finally **ntacted me and said they hadnt heard from anyone in weeks. When I finally got a hold of the insurance **, they scrambled to gather info from the dealership and denied the claim because Minit Man said they had noted my vehicle with less than 40k miles had shown oil leaks at time of last service and this magically appeared in the notes Minit Man sent the insurance **. The dealership clearly stated to me and the insurance **, that this fell on whoever **mpleted my last oil change. I **ntacted ****(DM), when I heard my claim was denied on false pretenses and he refused to give me any answers to why this isnt being resolved. I have been beyond patient. Getting ahold of anyone from this **mpany to have this resolved has been a nightmare. Its obvious they arent **mmunicating in order to avoid paying for THEIR mistake.Initial Complaint

3/2/22 Visited Minit Man for routine oil change, I am a repeat customer Within days noticed oil leaking in from vehicle Took vehicle back to Minit Man on 3 other occasions.Was assured that nothing was wrong, and that my 2018 Vehicle was older and would leak oil due to age Continued to have slow leak, so my husband checked the oil beginning of June. No oil was on dipstick.On 6/6, took the vehicle to Christian ******** to get the leak fixed and oil changed.They informed me that the drain plug was stripped and likely not the factory plug. Additionally, it had putty of some sort around the plug.....likely to contain a leak (placed by Minit Man)The entire engine oil pan had to be removed and replaced with a new one $454.96 On 6/22/22, went to Minit Man with photos and supporting documents.Was told someone named **** would contact me regarding this issue, but I have not heard from anyone.
