On July 15th my husband and I went tot he dealership to buy a Ford Raptor. Truck was purchased and my brother who was with us noticed small scratches on the truck. Matt said we could bring it by later on the week and will see if can buff it or do something. My brother did and was given a pen that we could use for small scratches which we found odd that they would have it.We took it and moved on. On July 22nd (as time stamped in the picture) we noticed a large scratch above the companies log and saw that it was painted with that pen.We didn't noticed this before and a scratch like this would have to be fixed and not painted with a pen.Upon looking further around that area we found a bigger chip underneath the companies logo.After much thought we felt that it’s not right that they would sell us a car this expensive $91k like this and not let us know.We paid $10k over it which we were ok with it since it was like that everywhere. Not too happy but it is what it is. Whoever detailed the car absolutely knew because they put the logo on top it and if you look closely there are several spots on the back where someone has used that paint pen. We were not aware of this. We thought the paint pen was just used on a few spots by them on the day we bought it. I contacted Matt via text message about it on August 11th. Sent several messages. No response until August 25th when I called the dealer. He said my messages went to junk even though I had previously sent him a message with my insurance card and he received it. Several weeks went by and I kept getting different answers on how they could help. Nothing solid. He kept saying he was going to find out if ford could cover it. Weeks had gone by and nothing so I called and spoke to Sammy, sales manager, and explained what happened and he basically said he couldn’t help us. That we don’t know who did it! I felt disrespected. They were basically calling us liars. How and why would we do that to our car? They conveniently had a pen
