I reviewed Walker last September as my unit broke in June and was never repaired. It is now February 2023 almost 8 months and the unit has still not been repaired. I have been calling Carrier corporate, as well as *************** is out of ********* ***** trying to get my unit repaired. Just thought I would give everyone an update that it's been coming up to nine months and Walker has done nothing. They also installed a 3 ton unit on my building and did not put a vent pipe on it and not correctly install the gas line. It cost me $1000 to get that job corrected and Walker will not pay for any of it even though it was their shotty installation.Review from Ron R

I bought need air conditioners from Walker air and at six months the unit went out and I have been waiting for months now without air-conditioning through a ***** summer and Walker Air-Conditioning does nothing. The unit is under warranty and they said I can fix it on my own but it will void the warranty. They have made four appointments to come repair the unit and never showed up and never called. This is absolutely the worst air conditioning company I have ever dealt with. I am assuming I will have to hire an attorney in order to get my air conditioning repaired. Be very careful of this company they are crooks.Review from Kat J

New American Standard A/C (Air Handler, and Heat Pump) installed on February 12, 2022. The techs that were sent to install the unit seemed to be very inexperienced. Screws were scattered in my garage which could've caused flat tires, the first thermostat wouldn't regulate properly, so my old thermostat was reinstalled, but was too old, and didn't properly work with the new unit. But, the worst part of the ordeal is that the unit emits a strong smoky smell which causes my allergies/asthma to act up. According to the manager, the smell/treatment that they use to store the units is supposed to burn off in a few days but it still hasn't completely gone away, and my asthma constantly acts up. My mom used Walker A/C back in the early 1960's with no problems, so I started using them a few years ago, also. Mark was a great technician, and I never had any problems when he was sent to service my unit. The "new" techs. seem to be inexperienced. The manager was supposed to call me back with a resolution for the smoky fish/barbecue problem, but I haven't heard from him. In the meantime, I'm trying to deal with a new a/c unit that CONSTANTLY gives me asthma, and allergy problems.
