      Called the business to ask price for a health certificate for a feline flying domestically. Was told $77. 75 each. I asked if this included the price of the exam fee and was told yes it did. I scheduled the appointments for two cats. At vets office was asked to wait in the exam room to pay due to the "chaos" in waiting room, they said they would come in there to collect payment. They had already done exams and given us certificates. After a minute I decided I would go to waiting room to pay and leave the cats in the room with my husband so we could leave. They were not waiting on anyone but there was many customers seated. When I said I wanted to go ahead and pay they told me they would come to the room for payment and to wait. I found this odd but waited for nearly 30 minutes before they returned to the room. They did not collect payment in room as they said but instead had us come to the lobby to pay, all the other customers were now gone. She told me an amount that was nearly double what I was told I would be paying. When I said this she said they had gotten confused and forgotten to tell us about exam fee, when I told her that was not the case she just told me that I had to pay this amount and refused to honor the amount they said it would cost. I have also had another cat get a health certificate from here last year the amount was what I told I would pay, I called to make sure pricing had not changed. So now less then a year later they say the amount is still $77.75 but instead charge you that and another $71.75 pre cat. Regardless of why they told their customer one price then after services charged us nearly double they refused to honor the amount they said it was going to be.

      Hello, Yesterday I filed a complaint and negative review about a vet's office (Rutherford Veterinary Hospital) After reading my review they reached out and refunded the amount that I was incorrectly charged. I'd like to know how to close the complaint and remove the review.
