      As a resident who has been here a little under a year, my living experience with Camden has been ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! I'm almost positive, living here has to be in some way comparable to living in ****, and I am getting FAR away from here. I wish the public could see our community wall, its disheartening and sad. Lets go down the list of things together.... 1. Office Staff - they never answer the phone, they will never return your call, management is horrible. 2. I don't even have a pet, but walk outside in the hallways and downstairs to dog pee, poop everywhere. Someone's dog popped right Infront of my doorstep, and do you think the neighbors had the common courtesy to clean up after their animal? NOPE didn't happen. 3. Valet Trash, ain't so valet at all, they do a half **** job of picking up trash, if they even pick it up at all. Then the office has the nerve to charge you a fee, cause their vendor failed to do their job. 4. CONSTANT BREAK INS ... I mean literally like everyday someone's car is broken into or stolen! 5. CAMDEN ALLOWS your safety to be in jeopardy. I complained for months about the gate into parking garage 3 being open for the public and people freely roaming in and out through there. Its been a months since my last complaint.... you think its been fixed yet? Nope! I've caught on my ring camera, people walking through the hallways at night shaking people's door handle to check whose apartment they can get in. I've emailed and reached out to Camden multiple times, reached out to corporate as well, and have heard nothing, they don't even call you back about your concerns. Safety should always be a number one priority when it comes to residents, there is no courtesy patrol! 6. What amenities?? You either one can't access them, or they don't work. All this money we as residents pay per month, and you'd think we'd have some decent living. I have yet to receive any of the services listed in my lease agreement,

We assure you our goal is to always provide Living Excellence to our residents, and we apologize that this has not been your experience. We continue to make adjustments and implement changes in an effort to deter crime to the best of our ability. Examples of these changes are transitioning from previous patrol security to onsite officers daily and 20+ additional security cameras added to our community's camera system. We understand the frustration when an entry gate for the community goes down temporarily and is awaiting repair. If our team is able to fix the gate with a part, we retrieve the part as soon as possible and make the repair to get the gate up and running properly. There are times the repair requires third party vendor assistance, and we assure you we work to get the repair completed with our vendor as quickly as possible.       Constant and continued safety concerns. Since I moved into the complex in September 2021, my personal vehicle has been broken into 3 times, and my roommate's vehicle has been broken into 2 times for a total of over $2,000 worth of damage and theft. The apartment complex claims to have on-site security, along with working cameras on the property. When speaking with an employee after my first and second break-in, they stated directly to me that their cameras are "useless as they do not work". Their advertisement for leases state that private on-site security is also included. Not a single time have I ever seen security anywhere on the campus of the apartments like they state online, as well as in every email they send to the community. There are no less than 3 vehicle break-ins every night throughout the complex. It happens every night at the same time. All they ever tell us is "we are sorry this happened, we are working to make changes, we have security and cameras and we are working with the police". There have been zero measures taken to ensure the safety of the residents has improved in the last 9 months. Crime is rampant throughout the entire complex as package theft occurs blatantly in the daylight INSIDE our "safe and gated community". They provided a package delivery service for free that mitigated some of that crime, but they removed that service from us in February 2022 under the false statement that not enough residents were using it just to save themselves money. The community communication board is full of complaints condemning the removal of such service, but our issues fell on deaf ears. They offer no package service, no package lockers/room, no on-site security, no working security cameras, broken security gates, there are homeless individuals sleeping inside our hallways, and no plan to reverse these abysmal trends. I no longer feel safe for myself or my property living here, even though the company has more than enough means to correct these issues.

While nothing can guarantee that crime will not occur, we continue to make adjustments and implement changes in an effort to deter crime to the best of our ability. Our community has a large quantity of community cameras throughout the exterior parts of the property, as well as interior areas and all parking garages. We continue to have a security officer presence daily and introduced Chirp access at the end of last year to assist in our community's controlled access points. We are always looking for ways to improve and continue to be available to discuss concerns, we can be reached directly at 214.651.7300 or by email at [email protected]. All they have done is provide the exact same blanket statement they send to everyone dissatisfied with the lack of safety they provide. Detectives from my multiple reports I filed have confirmed the cameras do not work, despite Camden's continued affirmation that they do. They do not have physical security officers. I have lived here for over 9 months and not a single time have I ever seen security ANYWHERE on the complex. If they say they "continue to make adjustments and implement changes in an effort to deter crime", then I would like a list of such actions they have taken. I want them to prove to me that they are rectifying the abhorrent conditions we live in while they milk us for all our money. I am not asking crime to be eradicated, but I am asking for evidence to back up their claims of "continued" adjustments; as none have ever been made. We are sorry to hear that the police department would provide inaccurate information regarding our community's security cameras, and we will always assist them with any footage needs if an instance occurs. You clearly aren't making meaningful changes if the rate in which the crime in your community occurs does not decrease. How can you be happy with the work your "security" is (failing) to do when 3-7 cars are being broken into EVERY single night? How do you address the concerns of the residents who have lived here for a year, yet have never seen this so called security? How do you address the rampant package theft when you took away Fetch from us and refuse to install package lockers? What about the problem of homeless individuals sleeping in our hallways, or bathing in our pools? Clearly these "adjustments" are just check marks on a spreadsheet that you want to cross off without actually observing the effect, or lack thereof, these "improvements" have around the community.

      We have made numerous complaints about the noise from our neighbors as well as the way our complex looks and they have yet to do anything about either issue. We have made the right calls to have documentation of the noise and they tell us there is nothing else for them to do. We request calls to follow up with us and nothing.

      Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/02/11) */ Our community is always available to discuss resident concerns and will work to resolve any issues at hand as quickly and as best as possible. Our team has spoken with our resident regarding their concerns on multiple occasions and the reporting of noise complaints ceased until recently. We again have spoken with our resident, visited their home and the reported neighbors home as recent as 1/28/22.
