      I drove 16 hours from home to move into Sterlingshire on 04/12/2024. As I walked the unit before moving my things into the unit I informed the manager ****** about the fixes and things that needed to be addressed inside. I have told her Ill be going back to ******* to get my kids and Ill come back 04/20/2024 for official move in. As I emailed her and stayed in contact with her about the process she assured me the fixes were made. I was provided a new set of keys because they were so unorganized and unprofessional that they didnt have extra keys and had to drill a whole in my door while I was away. Today is 05/03/2024 and my unit still doesnt have air and those fixes are still not met. I booked me and my kids a flights back home (*******) because the unit is not habitable and uncomfortable. I tried working with management but Ive been getting the run around. They have sent contractors to my unit several times even after hours interfering with my schedule and the issues are still not addressed. My whole process was done over the phone and online so I wasnt aware of the way this unit looked and the amount of things that still needed to be done until upon my arrival. This whole process was rushed, half done and unprofessional. After moving in a unit management have 48 hours to make adjustments and fixes. At this time I would like to terminate my lease termsand be refunded for my time waisted and not being able to stay in my unit. My items are currently in storage after paying them for a until. I was highly mislead, this unit is infested and not complete. I cant even use theamenities thats included with the unit because they are either out of compliance, trashy or infested with roaches. My kitchen sink is now currently flooded after they say they fixed the issue while I was away. The information I received today from the contractors Im disgusted with this whole situation. This does not meet my standards. I no longer want to do business with them.

      Sterlingshire apartments managed by the Nrp group reported me to collections for a debt I dont owe my lease was over I turned in my keys to miss ***** she stated my apartment was left in immaculate condition and stated I would receive my deposit in 2 weeks. I became hospitalized and didnt receive my deposit. I reached out to corporate to see why I hadnt received my deposit and was told that due to hurricane ****** happening that they were dealing with residents in *********** and that someone would reach out to me in which that never happened and 2 months later I received a collection notice without verification of why I was being charged $1321. Im requesting they validate my debt. Removing the debt and providing documentation that it has been removed from my credit report. Section ****k in Title 15 of the U.S. Code This section of the ***** allows people to *** third-party debt collectors who violated the law. Section ****l in Title 15 of the U.S. Code This section of the ***** allows the ************************ to enforce federal debt collection laws.

      I apply for an apartment at Sterling Shire in April of 2022 by which case the assistant manager Erica was rude at that time she had office full of people and she's always been rude and her demeanor and very unprofessional I was told at that time that I had to wait for them to go through the process so I went back again the following Friday I have a housing Voucher in which case has my son's name on it so then she indicated that I needed to have my son present but that was after she told me she was going to email him the application and that my approved my credit and my background had been approved since then we have been bouncing back and forth with paperwork this lady consistently puts my paperwork to the side she is very unprofessional she hangs up the phone she was very rude to me and her demeanor right in front of her manager in which case her manager did absolutely nothing she said that she was going to address it but clearly her behavior towards me to this day says that she has not and yesterday she sent an employment verification form to my employer however she sent it to the wrong email address consequently she when I called her to inform her that my boss had not received it she repeatedly over- talked me then before hanging up on me told me that she was going to send me a screenshot over talk me and then hung up when we looked we being me and my boss review the email address she did indeed send it to the wrong address and and then furthermore had not finished my paperwork at this point I am in dire straits I am going to be homeless with my son . I've described all of my problems to her that I have a short amount of time as of the 24th of this month I will lose my housing voucher she has displayed no empathy no sense of urgency to try to get this done and consistently is rude to me and from looking at the reviews I'm not the first person that she's been with rude to I'd like to have a corporate number so that I can communicate this to them .
