The manager **** is very rude, and unprofessional she doesnt know how to effectively communicate with adults. Since Ive been here *** received several letters on my door, knocks at my door, emails, and phone calls. Ive kept my children here as little as possible to avoid any noise complaints now that had been done today I received a letter of a threat to others. Ive been in my apartment sick for the past week and have little to no clue where this could have possibly came from. The neighbor beneath me has filed all type of allegations against me which have been a lie. Early this month the upstairs unit had a water line to break which caused my home to flood and I tried to file an emergency move with housing after placing over 5 work orders. Housing had inspection to come out to inspect which they were going to approve my emergency move however Sterlingshire finally sent maintenance to assist the issue at hand. Im not sure what is the issue over here with the apartment manager **** and the neighbor below me. But I have gotten to get to the bottom of things as it has been a nightmare these two months staying here for myself and my children.Review from Kecia A

I moved here 2 years ago. Now these apts are nothing like they used to be. Very Rude Disrespectful managers. Children in complex very disrespectful. Loud neighbors. Trash everywhere. You call in a work order through office they ignore it. Or if trash in breezeway they don't do anything about it. But let a person not pay their rent on time they would be quick to come to their unit to post a notice. bottom line of it there's very poor management. That's why some of the people here at Sterlingshire apts do what they do. And when you complain about something you're in the wrong.Review from Amanda W

the apartments are dirty looking they have no kind of security the gates are never working homeless people can come in these apartments and sleep in the apartment halls and peeing in the elevators and kids using the elevators as a toy. trash be everywhere you turn the neighbors are loud and not caring at the fact there are people that stay under them, kids playing in the hallways hitting the walls and writing on people's doors some of the teenager i saw having sex on the elevators and plus the neighbors are always arguing and shooting at each other, in the apartment there was actually a crime scene about some people shooting and blood was all on the first floor,the front office is not doing nothing about anything that I've list above and never picks up their phone but has no problem charging high of rent for apartments like this so i would highly NOT RECOMMENDED anyone to live here. the front office is not going by the rules in the lease that they have people to sign to become a resident and i regret living here ,something needs to be done about these apartments and i hope you will help in doing that thank you for reading.
