On February 16, 2024, I walked into a TBK Bank in ******, ******** to check my account balance. I knew I had $280 or so in the account set aside for emergency funds. It came to my attention thereafter that my account was closed due to being charged a service fee of $20 monthly for not using the account; thus, draining the account of those funds. I have had this account for well-over twenty (20) years with what was originally ***************** and now TBK. TBK would not refund the money they had clearly stolen from me. This needs to be resolved or other action will be taken until I am fully reimbursed the funds this bank clearly stole. It does not matter how much time has passed. It was for emergency funds and nothing more. I have a ***********, ******** and *****, ******** address. I receive mail at both addresses. The Aledo address is/was on file with the bank. I never received any mail, telephone calls, or text messages advising me of these fees. I have had the same telephone number since 2003 and is the number TBK had/has on file... as well. Undoubtedly, I was treated as a third class person. On an important note, I am employed with a law firm that has a business account with TBK and has substantial amounts of money flowing into the bank.
