I placed an order (#*****) with braid Beauty *** on 12/14/23. The order was for 6 packs of braiding hair (the name of the product: EZBRAID 26", color # T4/27) & the total for all 6 packs was $10.20 plus the subtotal $9.18 & the shipping cost $17.83, the final total was $27.01 (see receipt attached). On 12/16/23, the order status showed not been delivered & the *** tracking number showed an expected delivery date of Friday, 12/22 which was too late & I was going out of town on 12/21. On 12/16, I requested via *** the package be delivered to the *** store at *********************************************************** instead of my house because I was out of town for the holiday. On 12/19, I sent an email ********************************************************************** requesting a refund & asking for the next steps in the refund process because their website states you have 14 days from the date of purchase to return your item. Unbeknownst to me, on 12/18 I received a *** Update email stating that my delivery had been rescheduled from Braid Beauty *** for 12/19/23 by 9pm. I was unaware the delivery had been made to the ******** *** store and was available for pick on 12/19/23 and the email showed the order had to be picked up by 12/26. On 12/20, I sent another email to braid beauty and a direct message to their Instagram account **************************** asking for acknowledgment of my request made on 12/19 to return my order. It wasnt until 12/21 while I was out of town that I received an email from Braid Beauty stating to return the purchase to their address and sent a shipping label. On 12/26, I returned home for the holiday after the ******** store had closed for the day. In 12/27, chatted with a *** representative asking what to do if the pickup date had passed. I was told to select change delivery & select return to sender; I performed this request on 12/27. As of todays date (12/31/23) I have received no correspondence from Braid Beauty or *** regarding the status of order and the associated refund.Customer response

I am writing to inquire about the progress of my complaint against Braid Beauty Inc. As of today, January 19, 2024, continuous efforts have been made to resolve the issue pertaining to the refund of my order from the seller, Braid Beauty Inc. Attached is the correspondence I received from **** dated January 16, 2024, in which they have highlighted their repeated, yet unsuccessful, attempts to elicit a response from the seller. Pursuant to their communication, *** is still pending receipt of the necessary paperwork from Braid Beauty Inc.
This sequence of events suggests a pattern that might be construed as dishonest business practices on the part of Braid Beauty Inc., given that they are retaining both my payment and the product. I am led to believe that such conduct potentially breaches legal and ethical standards of commerce.
In pursuit of a resolution, I am reaching out for an update on the status of the Better Business Bureau's efforts to establish contact with Braid Beauty Inc. Regrettably, I have yet to receive a response from your contact email (************************************).
Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please advise on the status of my complaint at your earliest convenience.
