My new bowling ball was severely damaged by the equipment at USA Bowl and the owner at USA Bowl refuses to compensate me in a satisfactory/reasonable manner. I bought a new bowling ball from the Bowling Pro Shop located within USA Bowl at the end of December 2021. While bowling at USA Bowl in January 2022, my bowling returned to me with deep gouges all around the bowling ball as if a sharp instrument was digging into the bowling ball as the bowling ball rotated. I informed the front desk immediately and was told the owner would be in tomorrow to discuss. When I called the Owner the next day, the owner refused to take accountability for what happened to my new bowling ball. The owner stated he gave my bowling ball to the Bowling Pro Shop and they sanded my bowling ball down so deep that the gouges all around my bowling ball were no longer visible. Due to the deep sanding by the pro shop, my bowling ball was no longer in the condition in which I purchased it a few weeks prior. I informed the owner that the actions taken by the pro shop did not compensate for the original damage since my bowling ball was brand new and after sanding was no longer any where near brand new condition. The sanding also removed all labels/images/designs painted on the bowling ball. The owner subsequently offered me a couple "free games" of bowling as a gesture. My bowling ball cost over $200 dollars. I told the owner a "couple free games" of bowling is insufficient to make up for the damage caused by his equipment. The Owner told me he would think about another option and call me back. The Owner never called me back. I then came into USA Bowl to talk to the Owner in person. After speaking with the Owner, the Owner told me he had to go in the back room and would return shortly. I waited for over an hour and the owner never returned. I asked an employee where the owner was and the employee informed me the owner had left. Desired resolution is a brand new ball of equal value.
