Took my car in for hail damage (body and glass). Had my car for over a month, when they said it'll take 3 weeks *** and no updates what so ever. My my car rental insurance expired, and tried reaching to them and their business phones do not work. Without a rental car for a week, they said only the body was done and drove it back to me after 6 weeks and said they are waiting on parts. Fast forward 3 months, I did some digging and found out they did not order somer of the parts. They thought I did not know but they left out a $800 spoiler and just said they would cut me a check but failed to do. They finally installed the windshield and installed it causing me inconvenience. They also scratched the pain of my care when installing it. Last thing missing is the windshield. I nudged them to order it as they already got paid by my insurance 6 months ago, found out to already be installed on another vehicle. I am not getting any response from the company or owner.Initial Complaint

We brought in my wife's car on 1/30/2024 to get it repaired for hail damage, and damage on the front passenger's door. We received the car back on 3/18/2024. The car was not fixed properly. The door does not close right, the seals were put in incorrectly so air comes in when driving at high speeds. The clip guards for the windshield were not installed correctly either. There are so many things wrong with this repair. We reported all these issues to them, and we are having a really hard time getting them to fix the issues. They promised to get a rental car for us on 3/26/204 to fix our car. It did not happened. I reached out to them again and was told that they were going to get me a rental on 4/3/2024 and it didn't happen again. I am having a really hard time getting a hold of them to fix the car. I tried being nice and understanding because things like these happen all the time, but I am now getting frustrated.Initial Complaint

The Company has started the roofing job on 10/04/2022 and has not completed it. Have Made several calls to the company and the owner **** and have not received a call back. Just looking to get the job completed and move on from this company. Job has been paid.Business response

BBB spoke with the business owner who indicated that the consumer never paid their deductible or their depreciation and has already been issued a certificate of completion. The business indicated there is nothing further they could do.Customer response

on july 11th, 2022 i contracted with dfw storm solutons to fix my car and my home roof. the car went fine ,but they didnt even end up doing the roof however i canceled with them regardng the roof before they thought about ordering materials and so i legally had the rght to cancel in state of texas. they so far have not refunded my 1590.07 to me and said that "once it leaves my hand, then ts no longer mine." that was the reply to me asking for a refund of my insurance clam money. i owe the new contractor the 1590.07 money and need ths refunded asap or a check wrtten to the new contractor for ths amount. They never started my homeowners claim whch the car was fixed under its own claim seperately. please help me get my depost refunded to me . thanksBusiness response

We got involved and fought with them, came out there multiple times and met with your adjusters 3 times before they finally agreed to pay for your roof. In this scenario is precisely why we have this in our paperwork. If we put forth all the effort, use our resources, our time, our intellectual property, there is a reasonable expectation if we get the roof bought. That being said, it is in our contract and we are stand firm that the payment that we received has been used to satisfy our contractual obligations.Initial Complaint

dfw storm solutions engaged with me to repair my roof and siding after the storm in Dallas in January 2022. They were very responsive and polite once they were trying to gain my business but did half the job and did not complete the siding on the house and claimed they went over budget and became unresponsive and unprofessional once they get all the money. I would like to share this encounter with anyone looking to use DFW storm solutions so they don't go through the scam I went through. don't believe a word Dean from DFW storm solutions says at all. I have already engaged a lawyer to start legal proceedings.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/09/12) */ To whom it may concern: there is no money to take care of these items requested. Mr ****** used his 1st check from his roof to do improvements. We then negotiated using his hail money from his truck to replace his first check that was spent. Now, the rest of the items were going to be taken care of, but Mr ****** used his depreciation money for house improvements. We can complete the items for a contracted price. Obviously, nobody is able to work for free, and what Mr ****** is asking is for us to go into our pockets to do items that he received money for and spent. The price in the contract to replace the roof shingles and the side panels on the house was totaled to $8000 plus and DFW storm solutions received $11000 from my insurance from the HAIL damage on my truck; they agreed to finished the side panels and countless times in text messages and talking to Dean he agreed that he would complete the job and said he was waiting for materials. He even promised that he would do the job behind his bosses back as he know he promised and did agree to do the side panels... NO WORK is being done for free; DFW storm solutions got paid and may have under budgeted on the job , which is not my concern as we had a signed agreement for an amount and work to be done. COME CLEAN AND STOP PLEAYING GAMES. Dean even threated me to put a lien on my property because I reached out to them numerous times and was upset they did not complete the job.
