I went to the Car Spa Carwash in ******* ** on ********* and ************************* on Saturday 2/24/24 and my taillight was torn from my vehicle. This is the second time this has happened to me at this carwash. The first incident was about a year ago and it happened to the drivers side taillight. This Saturday it was the passengers' side taillight that was ripped off. The manager took my information and said that he would contact his manager and they would contact me back with a resolution. I reached out to them on Wednesday 2/28/24 due to not hearing from them. I was then told the information would be submitted, which I thought was done Saturday. I received a phone call today and was told due to the fact they replaced my taillight on the drivers' side last year that they would not be replacing this one. He then proceeded to comment on the age of my vehicle. I have a 2007 ******* Navigator. I advised him that the age of my vehicle has nothing to do with the condition it is in. I also advised that there are cars a lot older than mine worth hundreds of thousands, so age has no bearing. They basically told me sorry about my bad luck and that they would not be replacing my damaged taillight. I would love it if you all could highlight this for consumers, so they know to stay away from this business. They will damage vehicles and then put the repair on the consumer. The $18 carwash has now turned into $362 in additional out of pocket cost.
