RECRETIONAL MEDICINE The most critical role of CBD on muscle recovery is to reduce inflammation.  Along with other benefits, CBD’s other attributes include intractable chronic pain treatment.

Preclinical and clinical studies show that CBD has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Researchers deduce these characteristics can provide significant neuroprotection, or protection against numerous pathological disorders.

Relieves pain Topical CBD is more localized and treats pain in a certain area. Since it’s more direct, it has a more pronounced effect.

Increases appetite CBD has been shown to help with eating disorders by reducing anxiety and depression and through its impact on the hormones that regulate mood and appetite.

Removes headache CBD oil has promise as a treatment for migraine, as the American Migraine Foundation reports.

Fights insomnia CBD oil has even been used to safely treat insomnia and anxiety in children with post-traumatic stress disorder

Improves mood CBD interacts with serotonin receptors in the brain. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that plays a role in a range of functions in the body including the regulation of mood.
