I received a call from ********************************************* stating I there was a pending civil lawsuit against me for fraud of a financial institution (***** Fargo) for$2350. I was threaten with having my paycheck garnish. But what is scarier is they had my social, my address, my phone number. Then the female said we will resend you the documents since you returned the last ones. Um what documents? I havent returned anything to ******** definitely would have taken documents threatening the livelihood of kids and myself right to an attorney. Ive been working with a debt company since 2018 that consolidated all my debt for one payment a month. They said I had no such credit on my account. So I contacted an attorney who was kind of enough to call ******************************************** The attorney said the company is a scam. She couldnt find any info on them and they wouldnt provide her any viable information. If they can counter *** them for stealing my personal information & mental anguish please let me know.

Kirkland and Associates tries to get old debts paid by intimidating the person whom they are trying to collect from. They will call relatives, call repeatedly, multiple times, and leave vague voicemails. They are located in ************ and threaten you with a court summons. When I called, I asked about the debt in question, requesting they send an official letter with the debt name, amount, account number to me and they stated they wouldn't and couldn't. They threatened me with legal / court summons. The debt they called about doesn't even exist! They did not want to hear it. They will also state you breached a contract that you signed by not paying the money back.

May 8 2024 received a call saying that I had documents they needed to deliver over a business matter told them they could have the company call me directly if they wish to speak with me, immediately I get a call from ********** saying it was Kirkland and associates and that they were taking legal action over a debt I owe, refused to give me any information and when I got upset and cursed at them they said they were filing harassment charges on me, I told them go ahead I at this point had revived 6 calls from them in 30 minutes I had hung up on them know it was a scam from the start, but they persisted till I started calling them back trying to get more information on this alleged debt, one of the agents actually threatened to be at my house when I told them to go f*** way off, they refused to provide what the debt actually was or who was trying to collect it, could not provide any information other than I was being ***d and had Togo to court, would not provide there business license number so I could validate the business, and when you call them back 5-6 times there is only 4-5 people that seem to work there as I kept getting same people, none could explain or give any real information they were all extremely hostile and rude, and kept threatening me with a harassment order and lawsuit finaly I got bored trying to gather information on this alleged debt and blocked the number shortly after I get another call from a Washington number another processing service, I told them to have the people call me directly like I had done last time, again same person calls me his name was ****, and immediately I told them I wanted a business license number so I could validate there business, I got out on hold transferred to another guy who immediately threatens me again with filing a harassment order on me, I kindly asked for the business license number he got more and more hostile, and said the judge will hear all this, I told him good, how do I take legal action and *** them

We did receive multiple inbound calls from ************ on 05/08/2024 from and individual claiming to be *********************************. Due to third party disclosure laws we are unable to release specific account/case details prior to verifying we have the correct individual on the phone. We received threats and were met with lots of vulgar language when trying to confirm that we had the correct individual. When we were unable to release the details ************ reverted to calling numerous times demanding information while demeaning our employees. After numerous phone calls we did let that individual know that what they were doing was a form of harassment and was being recorded. Because of the way they were acting we never were able to release any information on the account. We simply let the individual know that if they were the correct person they should expect documentation through the mail explaining those details, but due to third party disclosure laws we would not be able to release any further information over the phone. I strongly dispute that any of our associates were rude nor had anyone threatened ******************** in any capacity. As shown in his own account as to what had happened he was the only one being vulgar.

This company ********************************* ************; ******************************************) scams citizens by cold calling supposedly pursuing extremely old debts. This company starts the scam by leveraging a third-party actor ************************** *** - ************) to intimidate and scare the citizen by saying they're delivering a court summons. When you attempt to cooperate and receive the summons, *** tells you that can't actually deliver it today and to instead call Kirkland. I suspect they do this because there are laws preventing this debt service company from attempting to directly make contact with citizens and they are using the *** company as an intermediary to insulate themselves. When you call Kirkland they are even more intimidating and rude using scare tactics like threatening to take your house, car, garnish wages, etc. When you ask them to produce evidence they become evasive and more hostile. When you tell them you want to go to court so that a judge can mediate, they refuse to communicate further and instead tell you to just wait for the summons (which never actually ever arrives) thus creating a circle of deceit that never results in any action. I would like this company to pay me for my time lost in this predatory tactic and as a punitive gesture of $1,000. I can furnish voicemails and call recordings if needed.
