I signed a contract with Jorge R***** (JC Contracting) on Sept 12, 2022 to remove and frame a few walls. I paid $4250 immediately (50%) per contract with the remaining to be paid on completion. He did work that was not to code, and framed windows to the wrong size even though I had specs, structural and architectural plans. He demanded that I pay the remaining balance before completion every day, and abandoned my project before finishing. And his workers told me later that they were not paid for the work they did. If you look at this businesses Yelp page, there are other complaints from other employees saying that they were not paid as well which is really sad. These men have families. How evil do you have to be to let children starve? He broke several health and safety codes, and I am still finding pieces of shattered glass all over my house from the windows he removed. I have video surveillance evidence of all of the above. He has cost me thousands of dollars in repairs and just yesterday water was leaking from my attic from yet ANOTHER beam that was removed that shouldn't have been. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE A SCAM.Initial Complaint

I have signed an agreement for JC contracting to remove existing sheetrock wall, temporary brace celing and install new metal On Apr 25, 2022 for $3700 and I paid Jorge ****** $1850 as deposit, he told me that he could be available on Monday May 2nd to start the job but i told him that for me to be there since the house is not equipiad yet in case if they need anything and have everything available for them so i asked hem to start on Thursday May 5th, 2022 and that is more time for him to be ready and more available. the job should take three days to have it done but He did not show up on Thursday- Saterday, since then I call him and asked him for a refund because i decided to go with different company, he said he will, since that time i did not returned my money back, I rtied couple times calling and texting him and after that He has not responded since then.
