      Limited to 2000 here so Ill see where else I can post the worst experience Ive had.I ordered the Wings of Hope urn and obviously spent a lot of time over what to engrave on it since its forever. This was pointless as much of it is illegible anyway. When you stand in front of it some portions of the writing are not as clear as other portions unless youre very close. I noticed right away when I took it out. I emailed them and they said its because the metal underneath can be different colors so it affects that. (Let me point out theres nothing on their website about the engraving/personalization and potential quality just on urns in general since painting is hand done.) I figured out that the issue isnt the metal but the width of engraving on certain characters. I measured and in the parts that are harder to read the width of engraving in the letters and numbers is thinner than the same exact letters and numbers in the easier to read parts. (This is within the same line so text is same size.) They use a CO2 laser machine so Im not sure how engraving can be inconsistent like that. Just a subpar product and an uncaring company. You would think when youre sending out such special items which cost as much as their urns do you would be rigorous in your standards and have the best customer service. Their work is inconsistent and their CS is condescending and dismissive. They say they do not find any inconsistencies in either the quality or personalization of the urn, that it is clear, readable and maintains a nice appearance, and meets their high standards. Not sure who made up these weak standards because it is NOT clear and does NOT have a nice appearance and they just dont care. Look at it in person not a photo like they sent me and its very obvious. I am a layperson but figured out the issue pretty easily so they are either bad at this or liars but either way I would urge anyone to look elsewhere. This company takes advantage of grieving people.

      Beware Pet Lovers: I recently went online to geturns.com to purchase an urn for a pet. I found an advertisement at www.geturns.com for a pet urn which could include my pet's photo (Geturns Embrace Collection). I did click on their size guidelines only to have what appeared to be human urn sizes pop up. But I had selected what GetUrns advertised as a "Pet Large Urn", and I made the unfortunate assumption that I would, indeed, receive a "pet sized" urn. What I received was a Human sized large urn. So while their size chart did, indeed, refer to "Human" sized urns, I ordered it anyway believing the size chart was appearing as a mistake. My order and invoice all indicate "Pet Large Urn" so who would have thought GetUrns would send me an urn designed to hold the equivalent of a 200lb person. I did email the company and the response I received was one of blaming me for the issue and giving me all sorts of references that were not on the product advertisement (e.g. standard funeral home guidelines again which have no references to pets). The company seems to treat its customers as if the customers are industry experts on ashes and urns. I do have to admit the quality of the product is great! This would have been a lovely purchase for my deceased dog, but the position of the company's response is completely void of empathy and took no responsibility for misleading advertisement.

      I cannot even give one star!! My mother's urn was sent to me with everything from her last name, her birthday and her death year being wrong. I called to resolve the issue only to be blamed for the mistakes made and refused any type of refound. They're willing to give you a new one provided you pay in full for it, ARE YOU FREAKING SERIOUS!! So now I'm stuck with this urn that they will not return or take back that's has some strangers information on it because they claim they do not recycle them or anything that the etching that they do is lasered into the urn itself which is very clear it's only edge or engraved into the plastic wrap that looks like it was shrink wrapped around the urn, so shoddy and messed up, it's so **** cheap looking it's like it was pieces bought and put together from the dollar store!!! The votive glass for the candle thing on the top doesn't even look like it belongs to the urn, it's probably a leftover piece from somebody else's urn that they messed up. Is the biggest piece of c*** I have seen in my life I wouldn't stick my pet frog in there if he passed away!!!!! So FYI to the next one that's considering this place for their loved ones remains be very very very very cautious and still turn the other way!!!!!!

      We explained to the customer that we engrave products to the exact specifications submitted by the customer on our website. The customer is required to check a box before purchasing that reminds them to confirm all the spelling and dates are correct prior to placing the order. We do not change any text data that is submitted as it is what the customer requests. The customer entered in incorrect information and was furious that we would not send a free replacement. Please note the customer is ALSO sent an order confirmation email showing what she submitted. We have proof of what she submitted to us that matches the engraving that we did. All our urns are handmade with a pearlescent paint applied to the body of the metal urn. We DO NOT us any type of plastic wrap or shrink wrapping on our urns. We use Laser CO2 engraving machines that remove the paint from the outside to expose the metal coming through. This is why engraving is permanent and unable to be returned. We have over **** 5 star reviews on our website and would not be in business if we sold cheap or left over items. I am requesting that you remove this erroneous review which is meant to harm us from an issue that belongs to the customer. We offered a discount on replacing an order with correct engraving and the customer refused to understand her error. If there are any ways to submit documents please allow us to show you specifically why this is not our issue.
