      We are fully and completely opting Ms. ***** out of our records so she will no longer receive offers from us in the future. Ms. ***** is not a client of our company.       I cancelled my enrolment yesterday with Creditassociates. I had $6000 in my savings account which i expected the company to return me because it is my money. After the call the agent even took my privilege of logging into the website. I was unable to check my saving account any more. As per the agreement i signed unless the program completes the money will stay in the saving account and If i decide to cancel my participation in the program the money will be returned to me. I have been with the program with 15 months my period was 41 months. Upon calling the agent told me i have zero dollars in my account although i could clearly see $6000 at my end. She said all that money has been used to pay off the accounts. I need help resolving this issue and i want my money back because i withdraw from the program!This company is a fraud by all means. I need my $6000 back before i take some legal action!

      They owe me $6000 and they are only offering to pay me back $2800. I paid them $6000 not $2800. I need my full refund back as they have stated in the resolution. Why are they offering me a different amount when the total refund is $6000 not $2800.

      I am rejecting this response because:   I paid the company $6000 over 15 month period and they have emailed me and are offering me $2800 under the table as the only refund to take the complaint back. I need the amount that I paid them which is $6000 not $2800. 
      As mentioned in the resolution response that they will give me my full refund back, i want them to state the amount as $6000 not $2800. If they agree to that I will accept the offer. Since this was my Saving account according to the company and I could withdraw from the program any time before 48 months and they stated they would return all my saving account money back. They should comply with what they stated when they lured me into the program. Thank you

      I contacted CA on 5/13/24 with questions about their service. I had two low-balance credit card debts and was interested in how the credit settling procedure worked. I told the rep that my interest was in not endangering my good credit score as I intended to co-sign for a child's college educational loans this year. I was told that while my credit rating my be affected initially, it would be short term and wouldn't impact the college loan process for Fall semester. I signed up. I was told not to pay my June credit card payments as CA would begin negotiating right away. Instead, I was to pay my June payment of $225 to CA's partner bank, Global. My first payment to Global was withdrawn directly from my bank on 6/15/24. That same day, I began getting calls from my credit card company due to late payment. When I contacted the credit card company to advise that I was working with CA, they informed me that they had no notice of that arrangement. When I called CA, I was suddenly hit with jargon such as "Independent Decision"...Specifically that I had made the "independent decision" to stop paying my credit card bills to show hardship for settlement. CA then informed me that I would need to be delinquent on my credit card payments for 90 to 180 days before they could work on my behalf. As my intention in working with CA was to improve my credit score, being delinquent on my bills for 6 months would certainly work against that goal. I spoke with a supervisor named *****. ***** offered me a $1300/month expedited settlement plan!! This was of course, out of the question. ***** agreed to disenroll me from the CA program. He assured me that he would call me by 4:30 EST yesterday to discuss possible assistance with credit card late fees incurred. I did not get that call. CA intentionally misled me about their BBB-approved program's procedure. I am currently awaiting the electronic refund of the $225 paid to Global which was "promised" within seven to ten business days.

      I started paying this company a year ago, I realized they are scammers. I was told in the beginning that you could cancel at any time it also states that on their website when in fact, I did try to cancel. They gave me the runaround and refuses to give me my money back. The money has been put into a savings account with **************** *************** said that credit associates has the money credit associates says that *************** has the money when I call back now they tell me the creditor that I was attempting to pay has the money. The creditor did not receive Any money? This company is refusing to give me my money back, and I would like a refund of all funds submitted into the savings account. We did not complete the program. They should not be paid in the creditor didnt get paid.

      My fianc called Credit Associates against my advise. Credit Associates instructed her not to make any payments to any of her cards while they work on the settlements. Her credit score dropped below 500 and today she received a court summons for an unpaid credit card. When she started she only owed somewhere around 20k the total amount she owes to credit associates is around 15k. It's definitely not worth having your credit score destroyed and having to go to court. Do yourself a favor take out a personal loan from your bank for 10% interest and pay that back. These businesses should be illegal.

      As "*** A" states, he is not a client of our company. ******, apparently, his fianc enrolled with us. "*** A" has not provided any information like a name or address for his fianc or any other client of ours. Accordingly, we are not able to research our files and respond to his comments.  Our company has been in business for numerous years and has thousands of fully satisfied (and repeat) clients who would disagree with "*** A's" statements. We are more than happy to fully respond if "*** A" can supply the name, address and other information about his fianc. Without that information, there is nothing we can do. Thank you very much.

      Client #******* On 04/15/2024 I received an advertisement letter from Credit Associates, LLC. The letter content made me believe that it was from a federal program because it said: "our debt relief program federally regulated" [translated from Spanish]. After contacting an agent from the company, I agreed with the terms and conditions without understanding the consequences of the program. Since the contract stated that I could cancel my contract anytime, I decided to cancel. I filled the cancellation request provided by Credit Associates, LLC and emailed it to them on 04/18/2024. Since I did not receive any answer from them, sent two additinal emails with the same cancellation request. I received an email from Credit Associates, LLC letting me know that I was going to be called within two business days. They called me but the phone call was disconnected after I answered the phone. Credit Associates LLC charged my account for the amount of $242.78 on 04/30/2024, 12 days after I requested the contract cancellation. I disputed the transaction with my financial institution. Credit Associates, LLC is not authorized to talk with any of my credit card companies on my behalf. No further charges are authorized on my bank account. I request immediate confirmation of contract cancellation with Credit Associates, LLC.

      On April 5 2024 $272.69 was withdrawn from my checking account. I spoke to 2 representatives, giving them a weeks notice to let them know I could not make the payment on that date. It caused my account to go into the negative and got a $30 fee besides. The staff are ignoring my messages to refund my payment. Perhaps you could help be get my refund.

      Long but worth the read I promise you! BEWARE ! I went to them back in October of 2022. The sold me on keeping my security for me and my kids--I am a single mother with 2 minor children - I watched as my savings was depleting over a year time trying to keep up with everything rising around us and was starting to go in the red. I was current but paying late. Responded to their mailing. Signed up and they told me to stop paying. WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE!!! They preach they reach out to your creditors---no--they send a letter to them. They settled one of my accounts--2 I was paying on ---2 went legal---they didnt reach out these accounts at all! One they had over 9 months before it went legal! the other--over year! I trusted them! I had to fight with Credit Associates and talk to multiple "managers" before they would even contact the lawyers on the second account to see if they could settle the account after one judgement was already placed against me on a different account. The first one resulted in wage garnishment! Now I am at risk of losing everything due to judgments against me. The lawyers were more helpful than credit Associates! They do not live up to the money back guarantee they advertise---After the second judgment I called immediately after court and cancelled with them. Was told it would be up to 10 business days to get my money I put in the account back---after 8 days--emailed and they had not even issued my money to be returned to me! BEWARE!!!! They are not what they seem!

      I am rejecting this response because:   After I cancelled with them right after my second judgement against me for an account they did not contact without my pushing them to do so - I had to call back a second time because it had been over a week and my funds have not been refunded to me.  Took another 3 days to receive it.   I am also looking for commissions claimed as they have caused more harm than good.  My time away from work due to TWO accounts going legal!  They have defaulted on this so-called partnership they claimed.  They took my security from me and my kids!

      We have taken all reasonable steps to resolve this matter. In addition, we have issued an additional/new refund to **********************. She will receive that refund within 6 to 8 days. Overall, we successfully resolved several accounts on Ms. *********' behalf. We are certainly not in a position to pay her for any alleged time away from work, etc. Furthermore, that sort of request is not reasonable.       I contacted credit associates about 3 years ago to resolve my credit card debt. After initially speaking with them they we agreed upon a solution that made sense for me, resulting in monthly payments for a few years in order to resolve the debt. Total debt was about 17k and monthly payments were about 280$. Fast forward to about 2 years in and they tell me I needed to make payments of 770$ a month for the next year in order to settle the rest of the debt I owed. This amount not only exceeded well over the amount of the debt I owed but also was far more than what we had initially agreed upon. Fast forward to last month and I get a subpoena from **** of America suing me for 6k. I tried calling credit associates to get some documentation of the 8k I had paid them and the last on the phone told me she cannot help me with anything since I had defaulted on their payments. I go yo court and tried calling again during mediation and was told the same thing. They have stolen 8k from me and unless they can send me documentation showing me what happened to the money I sent, I will be suing them for the money they had stolen. I have the proof in my bank statements of all the money I had sent them. This company is a fraud

      I get mail and calls from them all the times for the last 2 years even tho I asked them not to contact me , I do not need to do debt forgiveness and dont know how did they get my info , they lied about second attempt to contact me just to protect them but it has been 2 years at least
