NEVER EVER have I seen such distain for ************* Veterans as I have at the ********* Hospital. Those people could absolutely care less. From cancelling my serious appointments, without notice to the HORRENDOUS way they treat Veterans. I am appalled by this hospital each time I go. Today, January 18, 2024, I was supposed to have an *** intake appointment. *** stands for Intensive Outpatient Program.I've already had it out over the phone with the complete disaster of an intake coordinator. She doesn't care about patients. She doesn't care about mental health. And she clearly doesn't care about her job. (Video appointment/Telehealth)With 0 greeting she started the meeting with "Are you still interested in the *** program and all of the stipulations". I told her I was, but I had several work commitments and I was moving. Then I used my vape."Oh you can't vape in *** and we can't admit you if you're moving ' "You can't reschedule everything around our ***?"Hell no I can't and I won't. I have been to rehab several times and NEVER been told I couldn't smoke. That's ridiculous. One thing at a time. I disconnected the call.This type of behavior is absolutely common with the horrible people at that hospital..They just don't.If I'm not contacted by the DIRECTOR OF THE MENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT I will file a lawsuit against the ****** North Texas VA in the up coming weeks.
