****** the owner has worked for us doing lighting for many years. He offered to help my elderly widowed parent with a pool leak. She paid him $1800 for pool leak detection. We never saw anyone come check for leaks, nor do we have any information of the leaks he says the has pool. He said he used the pool surgeon and they told us they have never heard of him. Once he received the money, we could not get a hold of him for 2 months with a lot of messages left on multiple phone numbers. We finally made contact through another number we found online. He claims he had to pay the leak detection and had been out of town. Obviously, he took the money and then refused to answer or return the calls. We still do not know where the leaks are located or even what company he used to supposedly find the leaks. Paid him $1800 and got absolutely nothing in return. This is obviously a case about taking advantage of the elderly!Initial Complaint

DLL states on invoice warranty note-“all products installed carry 10 year replacement warranties” they installed two pool lights 4/16/2015 and one of them is out. I’d like for them to honor their stated warranty. My husband and have left multiple voicemails. We’d like the light replaced under their own warranty note on the invoice.Initial Complaint

I engaged Jessie M***** of Dallas Landscape Lighting to have a home generator installed. I gave him a check for 21,820 dollars on 7/16/2021 as a deposit which he said was required. I have not gotten a generator from him or had any communication about a generator. He does not respond to multiple phone calls from me or to a certified letter requesting a return of my deposit. He misrepresented himself as an authorized distributor for ****** but my direct contact with ****** reveals he is not a known distributor for that company. i have secured a generator from ******* which is a ****** distributor and no longer desire any services from Jessie M*****. I have made multiple attempts to get my deposit returned but he has not responded to any form of communication.Initial Complaint

In March of 2021, shortly after the freeze in North Texas, Jesse ****** of Dallas Landscape Lighting, gave me a bid to install a whole house generator. I signed the contract and paid the $20,000 deposit for the equipment, as did 4 others in my neighborhood. I was assured in March 2021 that he had two truckloads of generators that he had ordered and one of them would have my name on it. I attempted to contact the Jesse and the company several times in the coming weeks and got no response. On Apr 15 he told me by email that the 4 semi loads of generators had shown up and my neighborhood was next on the list. No other communication until on 1 October his office tells me that they are getting a shipment in Oct 2021 and Feb 2022. And they will inform me which shipment will have my equipment. I have responded with questions. Have heard nothing.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 9, 2021/11/24) */ Due to the pandemic and supply chain issues the manufacturer has struggled getting us the product needed and we have completed all the other tasks required and more added projects within 30 days of the accepted email. Unfortunately we do not control the manufacturer and they have been horrible providing us with any updates so we can update our customers. We have privately resolved this concern with the customer directly. Consumer Response /* (3000, 11, 2021/12/01) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Dallas Landscape has reached out and offered to settle the dispute in a way that should be acceptable. I informed them that I agree with their proposed path. But since that time, nothing has happened. I will gladly call this resolved once the proposed actions have been taken, which includes a refund.
