I purchased a New recliner sofa set on 2/20/2024. One of the recliners started to fail by not closing 1st of June. I called Canales Furniture and was asked to contact the sales person ***** whom I had originally assisted me with the purchase at Canales Furniture. ***** requested photos and said maybe loose connection. She said that I have the option of paying her $100 thru zelle or paying at Canales Furniture before the delivery men pick up the sofa recliner. I paid $100 at the Canales Furniture store and I have my receipt on June 4th. The Canales delivery drivers picked up the sofa recliner on June 7th at around 8:30pm. The Canales delivery drivers delivered the sofa recliner on Tuesday June 11th. While inspecting the recliner. I told the Canales delivery drivers that the open and close function are not correct. All my recliners use the 1st button to open and 2nd button to close. But it changed when they delivered my sofa recliner. As I explained to the Canales drivers it's now in reverse. Only on the one recliner the 1st button is now my close and the 2nd button is now my open but other 3 recliners all have 1st button as the open and 2nd is the close. I immediately called ***** the Canales sales person to notify her of the error and left her a voice message. The Canales delivery drivers had me sign paper not explaining anything. I assumed for the delivery. No copy provided for me. I texted ***** also to let her know the lights not working and error with the open and close buttons. Canales delivery drivers back to connect the lights. ***** gave me run around that maybe I didn't notice the buttons being reversed. ***** says she spoke to the manager says it will be another $ to repair recliners. I let her know that I can not leave recliners as is because it will lead to mechanical failure at an earlier time rather than long lasting. I have emailed the Canales manager with no response. I have a new sofa recliner that is not properly working.
