I purchased a ($40.00) phone debit card using the Touch Pay machine. Touch Pay never released the inmate phone debit card I paid for. I contacted Touch ******************************* several times in speaking with each individual told me not to worry they could see in their system that I had paid for the card on (March 8, 2024/10:28 a.m.). Touch Pay customer service explain to me that if some reason the inmate is not able to receive the phone debit card Touch Pay would refund the money by sending me a check in the mail in the amount I paid for the card. The inmate still has not received the phone debit card nor have I received any refund with that being said I was definitely scammed out of my money Touch Pay is especially criminal deception, and fraudulent business practices. I certainly do not understand why Touch Pay is still allowed to continue to scam so many people out of their money.Review from Femi P

TouchPay operates the system GTL Getting Out where family and friends can contact inmates via email. This system is pure fraud! They take your money and either never deliver the email to the inmate or take so long to clear it that its no longer relevant. They also do not offer a refund for any of there mistakes or failures to deliver. Its disheartening and bias because the messages are not threatening or malicious. It seems as if they are trying to prohibit the inmates and family from speaking in real time. Im not sure if this will change anything but I can only hope so. Inmates are human beings and deserve to have effective communication with their loved ones!Review from Whitaker A

My complaint with TouchPay is this (1) When adding money to a inmate's account, If another person's payment does Not process or go thru successfully, Touch Pay requires the Next person to off the original person's default payment (NOT THE ORGINAL PERSON THAT WAS NEGLIGENCE WITH THEIR PAYMENT) to cover the previous payment that did Not process before your payment is accepted. (2) TOUCHPAY KIOSH ON SITE - TouchPay's Kiosha DOSE NOT STATE IN ADVANCE THAT THE MACHINE DOES NOT GIVE CHANGE, IT TAKES ALL OF YOUR MONEY , AFTER YOU DEPOSIT AND THAN STATES THE MACHINE DOES NOT GIVE CHANGE, IT WILL GIVE YOU A RECEIPT STATING THAT THE EXTRA ***** WENT TO THE INMATE, HOWEVER WHEN FOLLOWING UP THE EXTRA MONIES IS NOT ON THE INMATES BOOK, WHEN YOU CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE,YOU ARE HUNG UP ON, OR GIEVN THE RUN AROUND, WHEN YOU QUESTION WHERE IS THE EXTRA MONIES, THE INMATE DID NOT RECEIVE IT. THIS IS A RACKET AND NEEDS TO BE INVESTAGATED.
