    Ive seen plenty of reviews on ****** and at least 10 other complaints on BBB. Any Megatel community is ghetto run down and disgusting. It kids playing in vacant lots like 820, 813 920 Amenduni ******** mold growing on the trees and people running an auto repair shop in their driveway like 700 Amenduni Ln. Kids vandalizing home and the landscaping. And broke down cars on in front of each one of their home. The kids and the adults are in violation. If you complain to whom they hired *********************************** They say it not their job. I hope someone comes up with a class action lawsuit really soon

    We entered a puchase contract back in to Feb 2022 and the builder has significant delay and we signed a contract into a lagoon community and they said they can deliver the house on Dec 2024 but not the lagoon . the lagoon may take another one or two years ....... We requested delay closing ... they said no and the contract doesnt have any clause to protect consumer . the builder can delay for three years and there is no financial contingency

    I have requested warranty work on their 2-10 webpage as directed and have not heard from anyone. I have called numerous times attempting to confirm their receipt of my request and they refuse to call me back.

    I booked 2 houses with 40k. one for me and one for my daughter with Megatel During sale call they promised so big about the man made lagoon and first class amenities Its been 2 years now delayed Now they want me to pay the full amount on a Simi constructed house

    We paid the deposit for the new construction over two years ago, but the project has yet to begin. We are extremely frustrated with the company's ongoing failure to provide accurate information or meet any promised deadlines. Our sales representatives keep changing, and no one is responding to our inquiries. Despite requesting a refund, we have yet to receive any answers.

    We had them service a warranty issue which fixed our garage which had begun to come apart. The person they sent out resolved the issue but scuffed up the paint on our garage in the process. I asked them to come back and touch up the paint but they will no longer answer or return my calls.I would like for them to come back and touch up the scuffed up paint.

    Over two years ago, I signed a contract to purchase a home and gave Megatel a 5% down-payment. Two years later, no home, it hasn't been built and they will not return my money. I've called and each time they tell me it'll be 3-6 months but it hasn't happened. I just want my money returned.

    we had sign the contact for property ****************************************************** on april 28, the first things seller lied to us he said the house build in 2024 but when we did investigation, it was build in 2023.and during the house inspection date we found a lots of damage in house and when we told them we do not want this house then the seller said they not going to refound our money, unfortunately we denied our loan from lender 05/16/2024 and after that we submited our loan denial letter and requested to money back then seller was so rude to us and ****** us and said we do not refound your mony, since the house was damaged we should get our refound back. thank you

    I bought a property from Megatel located at ************** in ******, ** on July 2023. The contract suggested that Megatel was going to used the "most recent" tax certificate to to calculate an approximate amount of taxes for that fiscal year (2023). That most recent tax certificate was the one used in 2022, for which the value of the property was significantly less ($45,500) as it was considered unimproved. However, there are some documents from April 2023 from the Tarrant Appraisal District that communicate to Megatel that the 2023 Market value increased to $370,459.00. This was disputed by Megatel and there was a hearing in June 2023, where the agreed determination was $279,884.00. This latter value was the one used for 2023's property tax calculation. Therefore, we were billed $7372.32 (which is ~2.63% of the property's value that was determined), Looking at the closing documents, Megatel paid the amount of $1514.96 for the taxes corresponding from 1/1/2023 to 7/19/2023 (a total of 200 days), which would mean that they estimated a total of $2764.80 would be due at the end of the year (which means estimation was made using the 2022 value). I understand that the "most recent" tax certificate is used at closing and it is what the contract mentions (that Megatel would not be responsible for any "overpayments or errors in calculation", but at that time Megatel was aware of the new appraised value in 2023 and even made a dispute resulting in an agreed determination. This value was not disclosed during closing as if it that were the case, we would have negotiated this part of the contract. Regarding 2023's tax bill, it was $7372.32 for the whole year. This would mean, that Megatel is responsible for 200 days, which comes up to ~$4,039.62. Given that Megatel paid the amount of $1514.96 at closing, this would mean that there is a remaining $2524.66 to pay for those initial 200 days of the year. I am just looking for what is fair and for them to pay their share.
