9/26/2022 - Filled out lease hold document, lease application document and supplied company with $1,000 for property hold. 9/28/2022 - Leasing document provided by company with improper information. Notified company. 9/29/2022 - Company responded with acknowledgement of errors, promised to update same day. 9/30/2022 - Emailed, SMS and called company representatives as document updates were not supplied same day as promised. 10/3/2022 - Visited property to be leased. Called and emailed company representatives regarding additional physical details about the property needing updated/fixed. 10/5/2022 - Left voicemail with company telling them that lack of response caused a need to move on with other property, requested $1,000 hold return due to lack of service provided. NOTE: We did not feel, based on the lack of response from the company, that the property would be made ready for move in by the expected date. We identified a sense of urgency when first speaking with the company. The single source of income is a Federal job that required immediate displacement (within 30 days) and waiting 2 weeks for any acknowledgement of our needs did not align with our requirements. 10/6/2022 - Phone call received from company asking about details of the situation, no follow up planned 10/7/2022 - Sent final email stating last attempt to resolve prior to escalation of the matter 10/11/2022 - No response received, filing with BBB Requesting the return of the $1,000 hold. The documents were not updated in a timely manner, there was little correspondence after initial conversations (almost 2 weeks), company was aware of my family's needs to secure the property as soon as possible and concerns about the physical condition of the property were not acknowledged or addressed in any way.Business response

Based upon our discussion, we may be able to assist you in the future on the path toward homeownership, but since the timing is not right now (given your tight timetable) we initiated a refund on Oct 13th.
