      A person, did not even give me her name and I did not ask her name. Tried selling me home warranty insurance. She called it, in case MT fridge or oven or dish washer or **** broke. She wanted 250 deposit now and then for 1 year and 6 months, they would pull every month. She was very adamant that I needed the service. After I agreed, after telling her my check would arrive at 12 midnight; she took my credit card information, and was so happy. Right after, I hung up with I totalled the payment and it would have been ****, I called my bank and stopped payment immediately. Or should I say closed my card. To me this was just a big scam!

      I have been in my home for about 5 months which originally started during the Winter time period it is April Adams getting close post to hot season and use my AC for the 1st time last last week. I noticed it was making a noise so I reached out to mine to my home warranty. Long and behold I have a leak . They are stating that I will have to pay to get the coil replace and the upgrades. The upgrades include the flush line filter dryer reinventing duck line etc unacceptable. I don't understand why this is my responsibility especially because this is my 1st time using it on top of that they say it will take almost 2 months for them to actually receive the parts to do the work if I chose to continue. This is so unfair this is not my 1st and come to 1st encounter with this company that was not unsuccessful. Unsuccessful. 2 months ago I had a flood in my house after the plumber stated there was nothing wrong. Lisa, in particular, horrible customer service and is giving this company a very bad reputation. It's just me and my daughter and I'm just so depressed right now knowing I'm not going to be able to afford this. Dallas Location.

      Hi there,
      Thank you for reaching out regarding your recent encounter with our BFS Home Warranty office in Dallas, TX. I do apologize for the misunderstanding and frustration you had to deal with during this time. My name is Sarah and I work in the BFS customer relations department and I was able to do a bit of investigating into the issues you are encountering at this time. I reached out to the branch manager as well and he advised that we went out for the A/C on 4/25/2022 for the unit not cooling. When we were out we found that the coil needed to be replaced. We provided a quote for a new coil for $500 and it would take approximately, 4-6 weeks to arrive. The manager also advised me since the unit is older, he provided a quote for a new handler which would be $1350 offered to you in 3 split payments which can be completed by next week. He also provided a full new system quote with discounts sent to you via email and also offered those into 3 split payments. Due to our terms and conditions, fees and upgrades are at the homeowners expense. Under This Warranty Contract Excludes, "(13) Cost of crane or special equipment, code violations and upgrades, permits, cabinet or counter work related to appliance repair or replacement." Also, underneath Air Condition Coverage, you can see that it states we do not cover filter dyers. In regards to the plumbing issue, we have been out two times for the downstairs toilet due to being clogged, and we were able to successfully clear the drain. The first time was in February and the second time was in March 2022. Back in December 2021 we went out for the upstairs toilet due to constantly running, we were able to successfully change the fill valve. After these service calls we haven't had a service call or complaint about a flood since our last call on March 1st. Your local manager also spoke to his office staff and reviewed the conversation and made adjustments accordingly.
