I did not want to file a complaint because I try to believe the best about each person despite poor decisions that are sometimes made. I am choosing to write a review because I think that it is important that people are aware of some potential issues they could encounter should they choose to do business with this company. My husband had called him (the owner) to get an estimate on some work related to plumbing and AC we were having done to an addition on our house. He came to our home, was very pleasant and appeared to be fair in his dealings as he presented in the most professional way. He even seemed like a regular guy who had a huge heart because he talked about some of the charity events he was involved with in his biking community. It's always nice when you can connect as humans with others and maybe he truly does still have a heart for helping others in those charities so I don't want to attack his personality. It was within the price range of what we could afford and thought fair. The owner took a portion of the money as part of his policy and informed that the work would be started on in the latter part of the week. We had not seen nor had we heard from him in the latter part of the week. When my husband contacted him, he had stated that an emergency had come up and he was unable to make it but would be out to our home in the following week. This continued a few times of where he promised to show up and had a reason for why he could not make it. Then suddenly he stopped answering all calls and there was no way to contact him. Conveniently, he was still able to find time to cash the check that was given to him for the work he was supposed to do. It is understandable if some kind of work was done and there was a dispute or disagreement on how much that work was worth or cost. But I am finding it hard to understand how you don't do anything and still find a way to justify cashing in money. Sadly, this owner has the impression that it is okay to freely take money without having to work for it. This is our experience of him and maybe he has done good work for others but I can only speak to what we experienced. I truly hope that he finds a way to use his gifts, talents and the "good heart" he presented to be of use for those within his community. I pray that no one else experiences this from him and maybe, just maybe, he has turned away from this type of dishonest profit.
