    On 02/05/2023 I went to the ** at Dallas methodist.After a 4 long hour wait all I recevied was a check of vitals and lab work. I paid my ****** co-pay and I was told that that was all I owed.I then recieved a bill in the mail for over 3k.I have been tryiong to resolve this with Methodist since March but I keep being transferred and no one will help.***************************** is apprently the only person who can help but she will not return any one of my phone calls.Her number is ************.**** says there is an error with the coding.Methodist says only ***************************** can fix it and she will not call me back.I never signed any authorization, HIPAA, the from that says I may owe over what my insurance pays, nor was I given any discharge papers.I want soemone to call me back and get this resolved.The amount has been paid in full now by me.Thanks,***********************

    There is an advertisement that says something to the affect that "All Superheroes don't wear capes." Based on my experiences at Charlton Methodist Hospital and Methodist Hospital at Beckley/Colorado, I would say, "The medical staff at these locations have lost their medical conscience...they are truly worn out and should be replaced." They don't deserve the title of "Super Hero" and certainly don't deserve to wear the cape of a hero!"

    My personal experience having visited both Methodist (Charlton) & Methodist Hospital (*********************.) on the same weekend was as follows:

    - Unconcerned and Inexperienced staff:

    *Nursing staff - a nurse attempted to take blood for lab work, and the rubber glove he wore
    had blood on it from another patient. It was not until I brought this to his
    attention that he stopped servicing me, and changed gloves. He would have
    continued to draw blood had I not noticed and commented on this infraction,
    that nurse would have continued working on me with unsanitary supplies.

    * An inexperienced doctor on staff asked me why I didn't tell him that I needed a COVID test.
    He asked this questions after I had been in the ER for quite some time. I said to him, "You're
    the doctor...you examined me and asked for my symptoms." This was the last
    question I expected the attending physician to ask me. After waiting for what felt like an
    eternity, this same doctor only diagnosed something to the tune of a urinary tract infection.
    I never had symptoms of such an infection, but the results of the test a few days later revealed
    "POSITIVE COVID" results.

    - For both Methodist Charlton Hospital and Methodist @ Colorado, I left the facilities feeling
    (mentally and physically) as if nothing had been done to contribute to the COVID-19 symptoms I
    was experiencing. I ultimately drove to Cook Hospital in Fort Worth to seek medical help, and
    received adequate care.

    - For the awful experiences during my visit at the Methodist Hospitals, they sent me a bill for
    $2,590.00 which, in my opinion, was for the time I spent sitting in a chair in the waiting room,
    and the time spent laying in their beds. It certainly was not for adequate service received from
    a caring staff whose goal was to serve the client in a qualitative manner. I attempted to contact
    the billing areas, and even the offices of Ms. *********, but was transferred multiple times to
    individuals who had no authority, or the desire to assist.

    My husband and I have paid the bill in full, but this was not money well-spent. To those who might read this review, be warned. The staff at both Methodist @ Colorado/Beckley and Charlton Methodist are worn and should be replaced. In the future, these facilities will be my last choice for medical treatment.
