GETAROOM is a scam thru Priceline. I accidentally booked room thru them not realizing it was not the Hilton. It was a non refunded reservation of $558.36. I canceled immediately when I realized my mistake but they would not refund my money & neither would ******************** Sedona Summit. Will never use Priceline again.Review from Michael L

Scam me out of 172 dollars in fees. I asked the hotel directly what the company gives them from the fees and the answer was ZERO!!!!!!! this company use deceptive links to make you thing they are the hotel directly. i will always look for a local phone number for the hotel i use from now on.Review from Alexandra T

Like other reviews, I was unaware I was booking through a third party website. All the same complaints...overcharged, cannot cancel or modify without being stiffed about 3/4 of the prepaid amount, lack of transparency etc. It is an expensive ****** that I have learned. I wish these types of entities did not exist that prey upon people who want to travel. It actually makes me sad and a little sick to my stomach to have this happen to me, and to others. I hope their business gets its just desserts...kharma...whatever, because I feel totally powerless to get my needs met or make a fuss that helps this type of practice go away. Good to get it off my chest. Be careful on the internet!Review from Dan s

Company is a F#@kin SCAM They charge way more than the hotels, and non-refundable is ********. You call customer care and you speak with someone from ******** and they can only read from the script. The website for the hotel doesn't tell you that you are going thru a 3rd party they take your money and run.Review from Scott B

I thought I booked through the hotel. My flight got canceled and I called the hotel. They had to redirect me to getaroom. They were very unpleasant and had to call booking.com and then booking.com had to call the hotel. A real mess!Review from Jo B

Illegal e-commerce FRAUD in hospitality industry Just was Scammed by getaroom.com | never used their business intentionally thought the hotel i connected with was the actual ******** affiliate Country Inn Suites. Once I realized when I received a receipt not coming from the actual hotel I cancelled it not realizing they treated it as a non refundable reservation . The reservation came through as cancelled although the payment was just used with my credit card . Called so called customer service they said I cannot get my money back due to their policy . which is clearly ecommerce FRAUD.Be aware reported to actual ******** affiliated location plus FRAUD unit for my credit card ************* needs to be reported and brought down !!!!!!Review from Michael B

Reserved a room through them, thinking it was the hotel website for the advertised price of $130. I enter my billing info and the Subtotal is $130. I submit my billing info and then the total in review is $205 for taxes and other fees. I know **** well there is no 45% tax on a hotel room, so I call the customer service and all they'll do is a 10% discount. They won't refund my money or work with me in any other way. Quite a dirtbag way to run a business and I told them so.Review from Kathy H

DON'T EVER BOOK WITH THEM! I thought I was booking directly through the hotel - and then called within 30 minutes to cancel at the hotel and the hotel said "no problem". I see the charge come up on my card through GETAROOM for $500 and they said it was because cancellations are not allowed at all. ********Review from Jutta C

This site should be banned to take any reservations and booking.com should stop accepting these reservations
