They refused to Honor a sign legal court agreement. They aslo said in email they would pay the truck . No payments from Oct 23 till March 24 on it . They said $250 each month was going towards the ******Business response

Early on in the case his wifes vehicle was set up as to be paid though the chap 13 case. Once it was discovered that only his non-filing wife was the only one on that vehicle loan, that was eventually taken out of the chapter 13 plan as something to be paid (because it was not his debt, it was hers, although he listed it as his debt in his bankruptcy paperwork) and he was informed of this. They didnt start making payments themselves on that vehicle, so now it has been repossessed and he blames us.Initial Complaint

I have paid $435.00 to the law firm and $1,250.00 to the trustee that was not handled properly by Leinart Law Firm. This firms handling of our case was unprofessional to say the least. No one answers the questions the same, and NOTHING has been achieved since paying out these funds to this firm. While I understand if all may not be refunded, I feel that Leinart should reimburse for this because of their poor and improper handling of my case.Business response

*************** - Everyone in our office has bent over backwards to explain the process to you and answer every question you have had in a timely manner. I'm sorry that none of the multiple staff that you have spoken with have met your expectations, however we pride ourselves on our customer service and I feel strongly that we have gone out of our way to accommodate your requests and put your case on the best path forward. As far as a refund goes, your case is 100% on track to be successful and none of the funds you have paid so far have gone to our law firm. The filing fee was paid to the court and third parties to file your case, which is in good standing. The trustee payment that was paid to the trustee is a plan payment that will be dispersed to your creditors per the plan presented to the court. Everything is on track with the case so therefore there is not only a need for a refund, but no refund to be provided as no attorneys fees have been paid to Leinart Law Firm despite the considerable time and effort we have put into your case so far.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: No one had "bent over backwards to do anything". Unfortunately we were still left confused until we were forced to find different counsel. Instead of the owner caring about his clients as he claimed he sent 17 emails back and forth with me and NEVER addressed what he was asked. He was more worried about the reviews than he was with answering SIMPLE questions. We asked for a call and instead of calling he continues to email saying how confused he is. Since our case was transferred I'll drop the refund request but that response was totally unacceptable and they know it because I have the correspondence to prove it.

The owner of the law firm spent considerable time and energy attempting to assuage any fears this client had. He did actually leave a voicemail for the husband, as requested, in addition to numerous detailed email conversations. This request was in regards to a refund, and we have explained why there is no possibility of a refund (since no payments came to us, only to the court and the trustee, despite considerable work done by the law firm). Since the complaint was in regards to a refund and that has been addressed, this matter should be closed by the BBB.Customer response

I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution.
While no refund is being requested the law firm is not being honest by attempting to say that they have emails addressing issues because I have approx 20 that showed that they in fact did not.
