I reached out to Ipreferpayments online from a third party website where I was trying to get funding for my food truck business. *** ******** contacted me representing the business. He stated with my credit history I would qualify for up to 150k with some loans offering no interest. He said he will pass my information to his partner and there will be a 4% charge for their services. His partner ***** ******* reaches out to me and has me sign a contract with him. He opens an email on my behalf and fills out applications for credit lines and cards. I received a couple of phone interviews where I was coached my ***** on what to say to the banks. I got approved from a company but the interest rate was at 40% so I denied the loan. I also got approved for a credit card from Citi bank of 10k which I never approved for ***** to get. Once received in the mail and noticing that ***** had gone behind my back to get a credit card without my final consent I cancelled the card. Ipreferpayments has now sent me 2 invoices for 8% of the 10k Citi credit card and they also have made fraudulent claims that I received 25K from a loan. I have no such loan on my credit report nor have a signed an agreement with any banks for 25k so that means that Ipreferpayments is making false or fraudulent accounts to receive a commission percentage on. I received a message from my Navy Federal Account stating that a payment of $2848 was denied for insufficient funds. When calling Navy Federal they confirmed that the company trying to take out $2848 was "Ipreferpayments" this is a violation of my personal information. That bank account was never authorized for any payments. I preferpayment are committing fraud and taking advantage of small business owners just trying to start up their businesses. This company needs to be investigated before anyone else falls for their promises.
