On August 7, 2017, BBB notified 24/7 Mobile Locksmith that BBB has identified concerning patterns in consumer complaints alleging that consumers are provided a low-priced quote for services by 24/7 Mobile Locksmith's call answering service but the actual charges are significantly higher after services are rendered. As well, consumer complaints allege that their property was damaged by service representatives while the services were being performed.
BBB requested this business' voluntary cooperation in eliminating the identified patterns in complaints.
As of September 7, 2017, 24/7 Mobile Locksmith has failed to respond. BBB has received information and documentation that indicates that 24/7 Mobile Locksmith may also be operating under the name Avenue Locksmith.
On August 7, 2017, BBB emailed and mailed a letter to 24/7 Mobile Locksmith requesting a detailed description of 24/7 Mobile Locksmith's affiliation with Avenue Locksmith, including, but not limited to, a detailed description of the company's past and current managerial affiliation and operational relationship.
As of September 7, 2017, BBB has not received a response from 24/7 Mobile Locksmith.
