They are great at selling you the move with a good price. ***** assured me 3 times that "your price won't go up from here brother." Well it did, by about 50%. My company paid for the move by the quote so I had to pay the rest out of pocket which was quite painful...about 6k extra. I also paid for a full pack and then surprisingly found out that I did have to pack everything myself even though I was told "all you have to do is point your finger brother." The actual movers did a good job, I just wish they were honest with me up front and provided the service I paid for and was promised.

I signed a contract with xvanlines for $5000.00 to have my belongings shipped from ******** to ********. Site unseen three days before my move they told me it was gonna cost $12,000. Please do not trust this company they will ruin your move and try to get you for everything they can. They told me I could not get my deposit back because it was past the three days after I signed my contract. I would have never expected to be charged $7000 dollars more than my estimate. I canceled my contract three days before they were scheduled to pick up my belongings and they said I will not be able to get my deposit back.

If you need a moving company, then stay away from X Van Lines at all costs (*************************************; DOT: ******* MC: *******). This was by far the worst moving company I could have hired to move several boxes of items and miscellaneous household goods cross country from ****** to ***********. They promised they would do a good job and they failed to meet the minimum expectations even for a small load. If I could give a zero rating, I would. They clearly have no clue on how to communicate with customers and actually do the basics of moving items from Point A to Point B in a professional manner. Stay away from this company for your moving needs unless you want to be kept in the dark about the move or have no clue when the delivery will happen.

This company is definitely not deserving of a 5 star review or A+ rating. From the beginning there were issues. The original estimate I received was for approximately $4,000 for a move from ********* to **********. I ended up paying over $7,000. While I realize that the original estimate was based only on what I explained to the team over the phone, a nearly $3,000 increase seems absurd. The next issue was with what I was told about who would be doing the actual move. I was assured that this company does not contract out the work to third parties. However, the people who picked up my stuff and delivered it, while very skilled, helpful and friendly, appeared to have been third party contractors as they had no ID with this ********************** and utilized unmarked trucks. It should be noted that during delivery, my wall was damaged. While the movers apologized for this and the company agreed to provide a minor refund, I have yet to receive it.Next, this company never provided updates as to the status of my belongings when they were in their possession. I had to take it upon myself to place a tracker with my things to know where it was. The only communication during this time was initiated by me and never by them. Along with this, my stuff sat in warehouses in ******* until just after my first available date it could be delivered. It wasn't until then that they decided to move my things, meaning I had to sleep on a cot for the first few nights. Lastly, I am not completely sure, but I believe that not all my things were delivered. I believe that one box is missing from what I received as some of my things are missing from what I can tell. Luckily they are minor things, but still. The only positives in my experience were the movers, the lady I spoke with in customer service and the fact that I got the majority of my things. Overall, my experience with X Van Lines was largely negative and I recommend looking elsewhere for some other company to do your move.

X Van Lines was amazing! The movers wrapped and packed delicate items with great care, ensuring they reached us in excellent condition. We were extremely happy with their storage options while our belongings were in transit during the move. The movers were thoughtful and acted professionally throughout. I highly recommend X Van Lines for both moving and storage services.

X Van Lines did a really great job packing all my stuff for a big move. They wrapped everything carefully and made sure nothing got broken while it was being moved. I would totally recommend them to anyone who wants their stuff packed safely and carefully for a move.
