- Additional Info:On September 3, 2024, BBB identified a pattern in consumer complaints regarding the marketplace behavior of this company, Beckett Media LLC. Specifically, BBB has received complaints alleging that Beckett Media LLC:
Delayed and/or failed to provide collectible Authentication service(s) purchased by consumers;
~Have not returned and/ or damaged collectibles sent by consumers to Beckett Media LLC for Authentication;
~Misleads consumers in its advertising of its Grading services turnaround period for completion;
~Did not fulfill multi-year magazine subscription purchases and/or double-charged for the same magazine subscription;
~Poor-to-no Customer Service response to consumer requests;
~And moreover, ignored refund requests.
On September 3, 2024, BBB sent postal and email correspondence to seven (7) Beckett Media addresses requesting the business address this pattern of complaints.
Five (5) of seven (7) postal letters were Return Mailed as Unable to Forward.
BBB received a voicemail from Beckett Media LLC on September 5, 2024. The call was returned by BBB on September 10, 2024 to Beckett Media LLC. While an initial conversation regarding this Inquiry occurred, BBB instructed Becket Media LLC to submit their written response to begin addressing the pattern of complaints.
After multiple follow up requests for a response to this pattern of complaints, a final notice was sent from BBB to Beckett Media LLC on January 23, 2025.
As of February 14, 2025, Beckett Media LLC has not provided an official, written response to this pattern of complaints.
This Inquiry was closed on February, 14, 2025, as Failure to Address or Eliminate the Pattern of Complaints.
