I had an appointment with Touchstone Imaging in downtown dallas on March 13, 2023 for an *** that was pre-approved by **************** After filling out all the required documents and paying my deductible, the receptionist informed me that the technician did not show up and that I need to go to do the *** at their other location across the street. I reluctantly approved after she assured me that its their sister company, an in-network facility for Aetna and the bill will be covered by the insurance. However, I ended up with an out-of-network bill for more than $2,300 that the insurance is not covering (even after filing an appeal), since the bill was issued under Baylor Diagnostic Imaging (Out-of-network facility) even though I received the *** results and the bills from Touchstone. Touchstone representatives are not cooperating, I asked several times to speak to a manager but I never got a call back. They are not providing a solution to my case, every time I call they tell me the same sentence We will send the bill for review" and I never got an answer back.Note that Aetna representatives were very cooperative and no complaints here are directed against the insurance company or any of its employees.
