    On March 16, 2024, I received a letter from a debt collector named ********************************. The letter stated that I had an outstanding balance of $113.70 in collections from ProPath. However, I never received a bill for this balance, and I always paid for my JPS Clinic appointments in advance. When I visited the ProPath Associates, PPLC website to pay the balance, it showed that I didn't have a balance due. I am wondering how I can ensure that this balance is removed from my credit.

    I am only giving 1 star because it took way too long to figure out they were sending my claim to the wrong insurance company. I was in contact with ********************************* several times. She eventually quit replying to me until I threatened the BBB. She said she had done all she could to get the claim to my insurance company on which was not true. So she just stopped responding. I contacted the insurance company to make sure my policy was valid in which the person I spoke to stated yes. They also told me they never received a claim from ProPath Services and would not deny the claim because of eligibility reasons because my policy was valid as of 1/1/23. In the meantime of ********* not answering I had sent her my insurance card as a pdf to verify and with that there was no response. I emailed again and again until she finally answered with I will have to follow up with someone higher up. Wouldnt you think you would have done that after the first time I said that my insurance company stated they never received the claim. Instead Propath just kept sending it to whatever insurance company they wanted. Super frustrating and I dont recommend. I work with the billing department and I know what goes on. I cant imagine if someone who didnt work within the department how that would go. They would have just paid it because how would they know their secondary insurance didnt actually receive the claim without having knowledge about billing. Super disappointed that this happened. Im sure it happens to more people than just me and theres not much you can do about it.

    I am very sorry you experienced less than adequate help and follow-up from our ************************ to your issue. This is certainly not acceptable and I would like to look further into this situation so I can have our team retrained as needed so this doesnt happen again. Please contact me directly with your account number with ********************** and/or your DOB? Once I review your account, I can get more detailed information about the issue and see what may have gone wrong. I do apologize again for this subpar experience and hope you give me the opportunity to review your situation further and use this as an example in training/retraining the team. This will be brought to the department manager's attention for counsel and correction.

    I received a comment from Propath after I left my review. I would LOVE to provide more information like my account number, but unfortunately no contact information such as an email was provided and BBB states to not share any personal information. I can provide more information when that is provided. I am not even sure who left the comment either.
